I have tried to install new version 2.0.1 from terminal and Update Manager and both get the same error:
Advanced Forum Search
When I try to make the qso-list-window narrower, the program always crashes.
Running ubuntu 14.04 and cqrlog 2.0.0-1~trusty
cqrlog --debug= 1 ends up like this:
I have been trying to get CQRLOG 2.0 installed for a week now and have decided to ask for help. I normally try all I know which is not much before giving up. I am a linux newby and know little in using the command line but I try. The following is the error I am receiving! Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
I have only been using Linux and CQRLOG for a few months now and recently I realized that the Backup feature does not work anymore. When I exit the program, it asks if I want to perform a backup. I select, YES and the program immediately exits.
My log is correct and I have not dropped and contacts, but the backup file is NOT created. It was at one time, but not anymore. I have the program set to backup to the local Linux machine and also across my Windoze-7 network. It did work at some point in the past.

Hi Petr!
Nice to see that you are releasing new version. Congratulations.
I think I'll jump out of the train at this point and keep 1.9.0 with my extensions as they full fill my needs and are too big job to adapt to new version.
One thing that I have think about, but been too lazy to implement, is a ncdxf beacon support.
I just moved from ubuntu 15.10 to 16.04 today. While cqrlog-2.0.0 runs fine, I get the following error when trying to update:
I just updated to version 2.0 and the TRX control no longer works. grig still works, so nothing is wrong between my rig and PC. (grig --model 311 --rig-file=/dev/ttyS4 --speed 19200).
I have no idea what the problem might be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
*** NOTE: Using my "Windows mentality," I rebooted and now everything works! ***

Hi
in the DX-Cluster window and in the bandmap I get spots in magenta (my colour for new mode count.) for countries which are already worked/confirmed. This seems to happen on 80m and 17m for RTTY/Digimode spots. I have checked the Preferences/Bands/Frequencies and found the settings ok.
For example ZS2EZ is shown in magenta on 18105 RTTY right now - should be new mode. But checking the DXCC stat. I see ZS already wkd/cfmd ".LE" on 17m RY. Same happened to a PY, DS and A9 spot on 17m RTTY. All of theme wkd/cfmd b4 but magenta colour.
A Bug? Or is it me?
Hello,
I am using an Odroid C2 with Ubuntu Linux for fldigi, but I can't get this to work on the ARM64 processor....It's similar to the raspberry Pi 3. Anyway this can done?
Thanks!

Hi,
I just created the first testing version of CQRLOG 2.0.1.
CHANGELOG:
- fixed "TApplication.HandleException TControl.InvalidatePreferredSize loop"
- frequency memories didn't switch between AM and FM when the radio is on USB or LSB - fixed
- bandmap didn't show CW spots when radio was in CWR mode - fixed
I've created both 32bit and 64bit versions.
http://www.cqrlog.com/files/beta/cqrlog_20160421_amd64.tar.gz
Got this error at start:
"Error during connection to database:
TMySQL55Connection can not work with the installed MySQL client version: Expected (5.5), got (5.7.11)."
Last 20 lines of mysql.err:
Kubuntu 15.10, CQRLog has been working fine for weeks. This morning it wont start. i reinstalled CQRLog and XPlanet, hoping the config file would stay safe, altho' i do have a copy saved. All the windows open and then close again. i ran it from the command line and got this:

Hi Petr,
i have just installed the new version 2.0.0. Thank you for the excellent work.
When I select in "Preferences, TRX control" "Use CWR instead of CW", the band map is no longer working in CW.
It struck me today, because I have just my mcHF-Transceiver configured as radio-two, and here I have to use the CWR setting.

When I used old configs, 2.0 started ok, except TRX. I tried to start whole new 2.0
I got Mysql error
TMySQL56Connection : Error executing query: Can't create database 'cqrlog_common' (errno: 2 "No such file or directory").
Press OK to ignore and risk data corruption.
Press Cancel to kill the program.
Hi Petr,
Just a heads up at this stage until I check that I have not done something wrong but CQRLog won't complete the startup after upgrading from 1.9.1 to 2.0.0 and simply shuts down the opened windows so far. A debug dump at level 0 and level 1 is added below.

Today installed CQRLOG version 2.0 and have lost TRX.
Previously worked perfectly with 2 rigs: Elecraft K3 and Icom 756ProIII.
Any suggestions what to check?
Hi Petr,
At first, thank you very much for the new release. Haven't tried all the features yet. There are so many.
What I did do is add a few memory channels. I added 5420 AM, 5365 USB and, just to test, 18130 USB.
Now what happens is that as long as my TS-850 is in SSB, only 5365 USB and 18130 USB are working.
Even if the radio is set to LSB it switches to USB perfectly. But 5420 AM does not work at all.
However, if I click AM in TRX control, then click Mup or Mdown, 5420 AM works fine but the SSB channels don't.
I have been using CQRLOG for several months now and really like it. But I have not been able to figure out exactly how to get the program to create only specific QSL labels. Also, I do not understand the record field syntax to properly design a QSL label. And there are no real world examples to be found anywhere.
Hi there!
I just installed CQRLog on Debien Jessie, and I have several questions:
First the Main window and Log window are always greyed, but when I open "preference" window, this one is normally white.
Second, I use a Prolific USB/Serial emulator to connect my TS870 to the PC. I've used the 210 rig ID and the dev/ttyUSB0 driver, but there is no connection with the TS870...
Thanks to give me some hints.

Hi
uploading to clublog is kinda "special"... Using CQRLOG 1.9.1 (005) on a Ubuntu 14.04 LTS system I get the following:
Hi all,
I have had this problem for quite a while now. Uploading to EQSL goes just fine but downloading fails every time.
Somehow it's not related to my EQSL login because I have changed my password over and over again. Tried even the simplest passwords using no special characters, numbers or even capitals. But to no avail.
The window in CQRLog tells me that EQSL found nu such user/password.
The same login works fine on the website itself. Any clues?
Edit:
Hi,
I've installed CQRLOG Ver. 1.9.1 on a new computer, imported all my qso and everything works fine. But not the upload to LoTW. Wenn I click on the Upload-Button my qso are sent to LoTW and I get the following text:
----------------
Uploading file ...
Size: 2038
File was rejected with this error:
ARRL's Logbook of the World
jQuery( document ).tooltip();
jQuery(document).ready(function() {
dlgLOTW.ready();
});
Hi Petr,
after changing from Windows 7 to Linux (Debian), I switched from HAMOffice to CQRLOG. Your software is great, congratulations and thank you!
Would it be possible to add a world map in the DXCC statistics window in a future version of CQRLOG? It is not an important option, but it would be very nice.

Hi Petr,
Over the last couple of days I have had some FreeDV QSO's. This digital voice mode is becoming more popular and I wondered if it needed a "mode" added to CQRLog to accomodate it? I did not really know how to classify the mode as CQRLog stands at present.
