Anybody out there using the USB port with Linux on a IC7410 for rig control with CQRLOG. The operating manual says it requires a windows driver to operate. I'am using Cinnamon Linux mint 18 and the C-IV for control under CQRLOG v 2.0.1 and it is working fine on a serial port.

Have managed to get CQRLOG running on Mint and imported my logbook from Ham Radio Deluxe. Log book dates back to 2007, but CQRLOG only shows dates back to 2015.
1. how do I delete several thousand qso entries
2. How do I import the AIDF file so the qso dates and times are correct
thanks

This is the laptop I use when traveling. Kubuntu 14.04, CQRLog 2.0.1.
There are 4 logs on this machine, and I wanted to create a new log into which I would import data from my home computer's .adi file. But trying to create a Log 5 gives this:
TMySQL55Connection : Error executing query: Table 'cqrlog_main' already exists.
I've used this method several times and have not encountered this error. Maybe I'm doing something different. Advice, please?
I get the following error message when trying to uninstall CQRLOG.
"sudo apt-get remove cqrlog

It would be great if I could open a stand alone callbook lookup window (like F6) without having to open up the QSO list. When I use the callbook lookup all the other CQRlog windows come forward and cover up the screen! I am running WSJT-X and CQRlog doesn't do a lookup until I actually call the other station.

The problem still exists with the Auto Upload Routine.
HRDLog wasn't Online, so some QSO couldn't saved in the Online Log. The next Day, HRDLog is Online again, but CQRLOG now fails to upload the previous QSOs. The Upload Routine tries to delete the "old" QSOs first, but it can't, because the QSOs had never been uploaded.
The Upload Routine didn't notice the fail with the log before. So it is impossible to upload the old and new QSOs. Not only with HRDLog, it happens the the other Online Logs too.
On 29 June I tried to input my log on 2.0.0.1.
RM0F
Next I corrected the freq.
And I saved this QSO.
After this I looked at the QSOliste and I was surprised.
RM0F21.0760 7.0760
My main freq was added to his callsign.
I ofcause corrected his call.
But at the upploading to clublog, cqrlog happened to errors.
"Rejected: Invalid callsign"
I gave up to upload via cqrlog.
Moin,
there is a strange problem with my installation.
cqrlog 1.7.3
kubuntu 14.04 64-Bit
If I enable "Auto backup" (and "Ask before") I get an error message right after answering "Yes" to the question "do you want to backup your data": "File not found. Press OK to ignore ....."
I just had CQRlog lock up because http://www.eqsl.cc/qslcard/Index.cfm is down. There should be a way to abort the request to download from Eqsl to avoid having to force CQRlog to quit.

I have the pleasure to tell you that we have a new membership maintainer - Dave, K8HW will keep up-to-date the FISTS, NAQCC and SKCC files.
Thanks a zillion, Dave!

Hi,
Are there a quick way to mark bands/modes as confirmed by ARRL (or confirmed with QSL card) without entering a lot of "fake" QSO's?

using cqrlog in remote mode with wsjtx when saving a qso evean though it looks up on ham qth it does not get saved am i missing something....

Hi. One of the memberships I have is with the SKCC. When I load the information I get the following error and notice that a lot of members are missing.
Working ....
Wrong date to encode!
Call: K4GC
Club nr: 114
From date: 11
11821 records converted
Looks like a typo in the file. My guess is it stopped loading information after the error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If I type A45 new qso window, I see azimuth 130 degs. But if I type A45XR
I get azimuth 235 degs. Somewhere to change it?
Ok, I'm new to Linux, Ubuntu, and I have started using CQRLOG and think it's the best one out there. BUT, I have ran into some problems and have asked several times for help. Is there no supports for this great app?
Everything was working fine until I closed the log. Upon opening the next day, the cluster, and radio cont is not working. It isn't talking to the radio, and no spots.
Anyone??
I have a . tq6 certificate and have recently loaded Ububntu dumping windows on same pc. I opened TQSL and it asked for certificate. Tried loading it and got the error that it was not for this computer. Reading the instruction, it states, "If you receive a .tq8 certificate, it is absolutely essential to convert it to more usual .p12 format which can be transferred. Do this immediately!" How is this accomplished?
Hello,
why use MySQL database for the program ?
when i go in the shell, on the MySQL console, i don't see a database for CQRlog...
"show databases;" don't show me any cqrlog database.
This question because i want to do a little documentation in French in my website. This is to help and promote cqrlog in the french ham community.
Tks, 73

Aloha,
I'm trying to set up my logbook for field day and am having trouble getting 2APAC to remain in the RST-SENT field. In PREFERENCES under NEW QSO I insert 2APAC in the RST_S field and leave RST_R blank and then OK. I restart CQRLOG and with MODE AUTO RST box checked I get 59 in sent and received . Unchecked I get nothing when I tab through after entering the call sign. What am I doing wrong?

Hello,
I work as WWFF activator and upload logs to eQSL. How I can auto-fill eQSL comment field with reference, like "OHFF-0109", in CQRLog? eQSL use "QSLMessage" field as comment field, I think. 73 de Timo OH7JHA
Hi all,
in an other post, i've explained my problem with ubuntu...
Well, i've installed debian (my favorite) and i want to restore my database. So, the program done its backup automatically. I got this backup, in ".tar.gz", and after extraction, there is an adi file.
finally, with this adi file, how can i restore the data ?
Many tks. 73
Just as with eQSL and LoTW, it should be fairly straight forward to do QRZ.com logbook upload/download. The ADIF import/export seems to work, and the QRZ.com API is published and don't look to horrendous. Wish it could be added so that uploading would take less effort.
Hi - I am running CQRlog 1.9.0 and FLDIGI 3.22.01. The radio is an Elecraft KX3. If I run FLDIGI standalone / by itself, changing the frequency on the KX3 changes it also in FLDIGI. Same with running CQRlog by itself - a change to the KX3 frequency also shows the new frequency in CQRlog.
But, if I start CQRlog and have it start FLDIGI, a change of frequency on the KX3 does NOT happen in FLDIGI. I can see the new frequency in CQRlog, but FLDIGI never changes if it was initiated by CQRlog. In FLDIGI I have it set to use Hamlib.
Hi,
I am beginning to operate using DMR and wondered if this is catered for on CQRLOG? I can't see it as an option in the mode dropdown. How can I log DMR contacts?
