If I use the menu /QSL/LoTW/Import/Download and process data from LoTW website the following message occurs:
"Something is wrong because LoTW server returned invalid adif file header. Yout LoTW username/password could be wrong or LoTW server is down.
Do you want to show the file?"
My access credentials are definitely right and the LoTW server isn't down.
But if I check the returned file from LoTW, I see that this isn't an ADIF file.
So the message "invalid adif file header" seems to be right, because of the non-ADIF-file.

After updating to new ver. the application icon disappeared ... even from the menu app list.
i had the 'access violation' issue with Mint 18, and since i only had 1 QSL since my last system backup (Clonezilla) on Jan 5th, i decided to restore from backup, import log backup, and delete dupes. Worked fine and now i say no to Update DXCC list.
However this morning when i fired up the system, my window placement was messed up. All the windows were in the top left corner of the monitor on top of each other. Any way to restore previous behavior of the system remembering the established window positions?
Hi Petr,
Thanks for activating my account.
Here is what happened.
On 9th January 2017 I succesfully installed cqrlog on my Linux machine which runs Ubuntu 16.04 with latest MySQL and kernel updates
Yesterday, 11th January 2017 the program suddenly shows these errors and won't start.
I have tried removing the cqrlog-files directory: ~/.config/cqrlog/ to re-create it from scratch. No success
Then I removed both cqrlog and cqrlog-files directory and reinstalled from scratch. No success
Here is the error output that I get;
CQRLOG output:
What is the trick to getting QCRLOG to do a call lookup when it logs from WSJT-X in remote mode? All the info shows up in the New QSO window but when it actually logs it the name and everything else goes away.
Hello
I use CQRLOG under Ubuntu 16.04.1 since a few weeks. It worked great.
But suddenly, at start, i always get this message:
" Access violation
Press OK to ignore and riskdata
Press Cancel to kill the program "
Whatever i do, the program is killed.
Any advice?

TRX Control (in version CQRLOG 2.0.2) does not contain the Rig Model: for Yaesu FTDX1200. This does appear in: "As of Hamlib 3.0.1, the list of supported radios:" as #134.
I am not able to set the parameter for my rig and cannot get the TRX Control to work.
Any suggestions? Maybe another Yaesu rig with similar parameters?.

I have installed FPC 3.1.1 and lazarus 1.7 on my Raspberry Pi 3. When I try to build the CQRLog v2.0.2 source, it fails as follows:
Dear Petr,
v 2.0.2 on Linux Mint 18.1
Maybe I missed something, but when manually updating fied « QSL_R » with value « Q » to indicate paper card is received and saving QSO, « qslr_date » field is not automatically updated.
This works fine when LoTW QSL is received (i.e. properly updating « lotw_qslrdate »)

Dear Petr,
As I have now moved totally from a previous Windows log to CQRLOG with over 20k QSO. This went pretty flwlessly, this is a great piece of software. I am missing a few additional DXCC related features that are probably easy to do via SQL console, but I personally don't know how to do and a shortcut in a menu would be nice :
New issue - partially related to https://www.cqrlog.com/node/1717.
I am now able to launch CQRLog from a terminal with no issues. The application is able to connect to mysql and load the db and all is well.
However, when I attempt to launch the program from the gnome Activities menu, I receive the same errors that I was receiving in the previous post. The application is unable to find mysqld.
I have verified that the desktop file is executing the same command. The same cqrlog is being run.
Somewhere along the line I entered "C" for a callsign. The bogus QSO has been deleted from the log, yet CQRlog doggedly continues to try and upload it to Club Log. This is the text I get every time I log a QSO:
ClubLog: Uploading C
ClubLog: Rejected: Invalid callsign
Where can I remove this so CQRlog doesn't keep trying to upload this until the end of time?
Recently encountered an issue when starting CQRLog. I receive an error indicating that mysqld cannot be started.
Upon startup I receive the following error messages:
Error during connection to database: TMySQL56Connection : Server connect failed.
Executable not found: "mysqld".
Press OK to ignore and risk data corruption.
Press Cancel to kill the program.
I've updated CQRLog to the most recent build. I've restarted the mysqld daemon. Nothing seems to work. The file mysql.err does not update as mysql is not started.
Have a premium membership with qrz.com and hitting F11 does not bring up the callbook info into the qso window. HamQth's info is displayed using it The correct username and password was entered for the qrz.com so why would it not work?

I think I've given this a fair attempt, so it's time to ask for some help.
TApplication.HandleException TMySQL57Connection : Error executing query: Can't create database 'cqrlog_common' (errno: 15195552)
I've tried local, remote, manually (but not carefully) creating the database, creating a gqrx mysql user, logging in ad the db root user, grepping the source for the error, googling for the error. Nothing.
If anyone has any tips about what's mis-configured I'd be grateful to hear them.
Cheers,
ZL1FAT

Went to delete a previous qso and F4 does not delete the qso. Checked other F keys and none are working with CQRLOG's New QSO Window. They work in other Ubuntu applications.

Happy to be here with this wonderful program.

Not immediately related to CQRlog but very interesting

We can expect a growing demand for CQRlog!

In the middle of a CWOps Mini-test a couple of days ago, I suddenly got a "Disk Full" error and CQRLog crash. I was unable simply to restart the program, but an actual reboot of the computer apparently cleared up the problem, and there have been no more issues (about 70 new QSOs) since then. My /home partition is 18% full.
Any suggestions about what happened, and how to keep it from happening again?

Thetrxcontrole of my icom ic-7300 is working with me.
I am working with linux mint 18.
I have first uninstald cqrlog and ham lib.
Then i have instald libhamlib2_3.0.1-1_amd64.deb
Then you can do rigctl -l..
Then i have instald cqrlog
373 Icom IC-7300 0.7.2 Stable
put this in preferences and it works
,now it works all ok with me.
When I click on a spotted station my K3 goes to the correct frequency and mode on every band except 80 and 160. On those two bands when I click on a spotted station on CW the K3 always goes to LSB and not CW. I can manually move the K3 to CW and everything is OK but it would be nice if I could have all bands working properly. I can't find anything in CQRLOG preferences that might resolve this and I'm pretty sure it's not the K3. I use DXspots.
Any suggestions?

Followed these instructions on the Download page;
Ubuntu 14.04, 16.04 and 16.10 users can use CQRLOG’s repository on Launchpad. To add repository to your system, put into terminal this:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ok2cqr/ppa;sudo apt-get update;sudo apt-get install cqrlog
However when I open it there is only a logbook and nothing else. I am running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
Please advise.
Hi all,
I'm not sure that this is a CQR problem, but...
Very often, when I start CQR, the WK1EL keyer is not connected, or more exactly, the USB port is not always the one of the previous session.
So with a "ls /dev/tty*", I check the used ports, and I change it in the preference panel, and everything is working fine, but this is annoying.
Strangely, the link to the rig is stable. I had a problem once, but it was solved by a restart of Linux.
For info, I'm with Debian Jessie, and CQR 1.8.2.
Thanks in advance for any hint.
Gerard
