I'll release testing version of CQRLOG (almost) every week or often. It will be saved here as 64bit binary package complete with all files ready to extract to your home directory. DEB files of this testing versions will be released before final release.
Please untar the package to you home directory. Before you run cqrlog binary, please backup your ~/.config/cqrlog directory. These testing versions shouldn't damage your data but it's always better to backup :).
If you find any problem, run cqrlog in debug mode. Open terminal and type this:
First, WSJTX is running fine Standalone without Errors.
After starting it remote, i got the old Error with kvasd and kvasd.dat about permissions or not installed.
wsjtx and kvasd are in /usr/bin
kvasd.dat is in several places:
$home
$home/.wsjtx
$home/.local/share/wsjtx
(Try and Error)
After upgrade to 1.9.1
getting "Cannot execute empty command-line."
Not sure if the log is suppose to do this, but when I have the CW type window open, I can't put anything in the main log window, so the only way to log a qso with the CW type window open is to close it first, the CW keys works great. 73 Tom K8WDX
Hi Petr,
the RBN monitor is a great feature! Just found a bug or two while using it ...
When I try to change entries in the filter criteria window of the RBN monitor, CQRLOG crashes. When it shows me the 'Access Violation' window and I can keep on using CQRLOG without any problems, but sometimes it crashes completely without any notification. It seems to be a problem whether the RBN monitor is connected to the RBN (no crash) or if its not connected (crashes).
Hi Petr,
after the update to version 1.9.1, the apparmor problem occurs to me.
Therefore I started cqrlog-apparmor-fix, but this was not successful.
So I added a "@{HOME}/.config/cqrlog/database/** rwk," directly in /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysql.
This then works.
"cqrlog-apparmor-fix" works with the file "local / usr.sbin.mysqld", but in "/etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld" the include command apparently does not work ???

I would really like to install CQRLOG on my Linux Mint 17 system but after several tries have not been successful do to issues with mariadb.
I am a trying to learn linux ham and am lost as to how to proceed.
Is there a step by step installation guide available?
Or, any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Followup to posting below: it seems like something must have been corrupted; a number of my contacts were showing crazy values for dxcc_ref. I saved everything to an ADIF, started a new log, and imported the ADIF, and things seem to be sane again.
Hello,
I have download the cqrlog_1.9.0_i386.tar.gz Package and unpack it under Porteus Linux. Porteus Linux is a portable Linux Distribution which is based on Slackware Linux. I have tested Porteus with KDE and MATE and I think it is a good choice.
When I start CQRLOG I want to connect to a SQL-Server on a RaspberryPi (not mariaDB) I get an error with the message that the libmysqlclient.so ... is not installed. In Porteus Linux this package is not available in the package manager, so I have installed the complete mariaDB package and now CQRLOG works.

Hi,
Hello to the group.
I can log into CQRLOG with my username and password but when I try to run the program, this is the message I get.
Any suggestions?
Error during connection to database: Server connect failed.
Hello Petr!
I've been off of CQRLOG since Ubuntu dropped support for RS-232 ports, and recently returned.
I have the rig control working normally, in that it reads the radio info correctly.
here's the problem...
For instance, the radio is set and operating on 14.02500 and I click
on a DX spot, the progream now shows the frequency as 114.02500.
If I am on a lower band, for instance 7.02500.. and I click a spot the
program now shows 107.12500
Beginner's question: On one of my QSO records I accidentally hit Ctrl-R, incorrectly marking a QSL received. I've looked through the documentation and played around a bit, but I cannot seem to figure out how to reset this. I tried another Ctrl-R but it doesn't seem to toggle. Any tips?
I'm pretty new to this, so I'm not sure if this is a bug or a misunderstanding of how to properly use CQRLOG, but a station I recently worked, PY0F/AA4NC, in Fernando de Noronha, seems to be accounted as if it were in the USA. I tried manually editing the country, grid, ITU. WAZ, all to no avail. Any tips on why I can't seem to get this right?
Thanks,

Hi,
So, I had to upgrade the old shack PC to something newer, and I lost my real RS232 ports... I've not had much issue with usb-->serial in the past, but this has me a bit stumped.
Hi Folks,
I am fairly new to CQRlog and it's working great except I cannot seem to get it to talk to my radio. I'm using the same cable that was working fine years ago under windows. It's connected to the com port and as far as I know the port is addressed correctly. What I don't know is the proper strings to put in to get the radio and the computer talking. The hamlibs website is apparently down, so I am turning here for help. If anyone can fill me in on the right settings for the icom 706 MKiig, I would really appreciate it.

Hi,
I use CQRLog 1.9.0 and FlDigi for BPSK31.
But after saving QSO in FlDigi, and Transmit Power case are fixed with '35' (for 35W using), In CQRLog, in 'Remote Mode', the 'Pwr' are always "100" and not '35'.
The FlDigi Log File are correct, with '35' ...
Why ?
Have you a idea ?
Thanks,
ON6GMT.
Hi,
is there already a way to do QSL statistics with CQRlog? Or did anyone write a script to do some QSL statistics?
Mainly for my expeditions I want to do some rcvd QSL statistics per country.
Tks es 73,

Why if you click a line with a QSO it doesn't give on double-click give edit mode or details of the QSO.
When you do it now, nothing happens.
Can you make a single click give view-details-mode, and double-click give Edit-QSO-mode.
Hi Petr
Is there a log provided for the FD UBA SSB as http://www.ei5di.com/sdtests.html + SD input number of QSO and the output number of the corresponding ?
Thank you and 73 of QRO JeanMa
Hi Petr,
it is possible with CQRLOG to select multiple log entries and then supplement the fields of all selected entries with the data from HamQTH?
Just as in batch processing.
