Hello.
I changed tu ubuntu 14.04.1 and cqrlog 1.8.1 now.
So I tried to import my old data from my daily adif-import.
After 1584 records cqrlog say comleted and no error. But the adif-file have more than 3000 entrys.I tried with the adif-export from an other day... the same result.
Is there a solution for that ?

Hi @all,
i have a question. I use Debian 7.6 Linux and cwdaemon version 0.9.4.
For cq contest i use yfktest and the cwdaemon with the ttyS0 port. I MUST start cwdaemon only under SU and starting then yfktest. It works very well.
i now try to use CQRLOG under linux and want to give cw with it. It didnt work.
I make the settings like i find it here in the forum :
- interface type : cwdaemon
- localhost with port 6789
before i start CQRLOG i start cwdaemon with:
- cwdaemon - d ttyS0 - b
I have "Enable auto search on HamQTH/QRZ.com" checked and it work beautifully. It appears to use HamQTH exclusively but perhaps it uses QRZ when HamQTH fails. I was wondering if there was a way to force QRZ or at least make it go there 1st.
It's a nice feature to see LoTW and eQSL users in DXCluster window and in New QSO window. A couple of weeks ago eQSL users stopped being visible. It seems eqsl.txt file is empty. The date of the latest (empty) file is anyhow the same than lotw1.txt file which contains LoTW users so the maintenance routine seems to be running normally.
Has eQSL stopped giving user lists for outsiders or is this a bug in the update routine? I have two installations in 2 different PC's, one is 1.8.1 and the other is 1.7.4, and both have the same behaviour.

I am seeing something a bit strange to explain. It maybe related to my previous issue.
With Linux running, I can use rtlctl to controll my rotor. Things seem to work just fine. When I fire up CQRLOG, i hear the relays engage / disengage. I have seem cases where the rotor will move. I am not sure what is going on. This may be tough to troubleshoot. Suggestions??

If the new version will fix this, I am looking forward to it!
Hi,
It looks like clear databas in utils menu is not working. The following error occurs every time clear is selected.
: Error executing query: Cannot truncate a table referenced in a foreign key constraint (`cqrlog005`.`log_changes`, CONSTRAINT `log_changes_ibfk_1` FOREIGN KEY (`id_cqrlog_main`) REFERENCES `cqrlog005`.`cqrlog_main` (`id_cqrlog_main`)).
you can still delete and recreate the databas to clear it.

Now that D-STAR is becoming more popular as an HF digital mode, I looked to see if it was listed as a mode in CQRLog. However, it is no where to be seen.
Would you please add this as a mode?
Another newbie question. What do the dots on the grayline stand for? I understand that the yellow line is the path between me and the staion I am working. I guess the white and red dots are spots of me and DX spots but I don't know for sure.

If I go to, for example, the CQRLog screen for something, then close it out and go back to the New Qso screen, the New Qso screen is darker and gray. It still works, but to get it to be bright again I have to minimize the window and expand it again. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Error during connection to database: Can not load default MySQL library ("libmysqlclient.so.16" or "libmysqlclient.so"). Check your installation.
I am using CQRLOG at home and also at our lake cabin - two seperate computers. Each log is named NZ0T. When I open the log at the lake, which was the second CQRLOG I established named NZ0T, I get this error message - "Database upgrade crashed with this error: Error executing query: Duplicate column name 'upddeleted'. I tried the fix found elsewhere in this form that changes the Msql number but I continue to get the error. Is this because I have two logs with the same name? Do I need to change the name of the lake log to NZ0Ta or something?

I am a new user and really like the program. I have a question about the DX Clsuter. Is there a way to set the cluster up so it automactically spots any DX station I work or is doing it manually with ` the only way? I am using DXspots.com and when I used it with AClog in Windows the DX stations I worked automatically spotted.

I have noticed that, at least for my location, the grayline window will show that I still have an hour or so before sunset but in actuality the sun has set and I am in total darkness. The time shown in UTC is correct and my location is set correctly in the program.
Any ideas?
Hi,
after a brief power outage, I have this message that appears when I log.

My QSO list is incomplete. QSO s in log are 2835 but I can only see a few on the screen. When I scroll down I only go back to late 2013 instaed of 2005. What am I missing? I am running 1.81 on Ubuntu 14.04.

Working on the hamlib for my rotor control, I have learned that when CDRLOG unloads, it is not killing the rotctld. I have to do a list and kill the process. I am pretty sure it is suppose to kill the procell after we kill the program.

Call sign like lx/pa1aw does not count in statistics. as well if I try t88/oh1mrr it counts as oh1mrr,. Noticed, when worked lx/pa1aw on 12, it was new on that band, but it does not show as lx in statistics. CQRLOG version is 1.8.1 in Fedora 20
Maybe I am doing something wrong. When I record a QSO the start and the end times for the contact are the same. The only way I have found to fix that is to edit the contact after it is completed. Is it possible to have a button to record the start time of the contact, then the save button records the end of the contact?

Hello,
I have successfully setup LoTW and uploading logs to LoTW works correctly. However, when I try to download my confirmations from LoTW into CQRLOG, it awill not mark LoTW confirmation as confirmed.
The log shows that 60 confirmations were downloaded from LoTW correctly with no errors.
In a previous attempt, it marked 1 QSO as confirmed by LoTW in CQRLOG. That one QSO remains confirmed in CQRLOG, but in spite of repeated attempts, the other 60 will not import.
Any Ideas?
Here is the log:
Size: 21681
Connected to LoTW server
Noticed, when setting qso to N (do not send), I get still qsl label for that qso..possible fault or?
Hello, what is the best way to log QSO's from Holiday under CEPT regularies (Country/Callsign from IOTA).Should I use just a different "QTH profile" or should I create a new "log"? 73, Matthias
I am working with hamlib developers to get my rotor controller working. I was told to refirect CQRLOG to use the local hamlib rather than the installed version. is there a way to tell CQRLOG what to use. Or does it use the defaults??
