Many times when I download from LOTW I get this error ...
Size: 254688NOT loggedError: 104Error: Connection reset by peerError: ssl_openssl
Repeating the download usually comes right although it may take two or three tries.

Is there a nice way to import Carillo files.

Hi!
This problem has been there on older version,too. Just now I "blow my fuse" and also had a little time to investigate this.Today I have installed all updates for Fedora 19 to this Compaq mini Pc (1600MHz 2coreAtom). So everything should be up to date, also Cqrlog is 1.7.4.
Linux Mint 16 XFCE 64 bit checked and all updates as of today 05/19/2014 are installed.
When I try to da a CQRLog Import, from LoTW web site I get this error:
Size: 550419
NOT logged
Error: 104
Error: Connection reset by peer
Error: ssl_openssl
I have done this b4 (month ago maybe?) and it worked just fine. I haven't booted up into Mint in a few days and now I get this error when I try check my log against LoTW.
TQsl is up to date: TQSL Version 2.0.2 and Configuration Version 2.7
TIA

Hi, another idea :)
Hi, Petr,.
is it possible to provide a field at the QTH profiles that preset the PWR field in the new QSO window . Could be useful for QRP operations.

I am having an issue getting rigctl to work with yaseu ft450d. I am using USB-Serial R2302 Prolific
Here are the settings I have in CQRLOG
RADIO 1
RIG ID 127
DEV=dev/ttyUSB0
Poll=500
Port Number=4532
Run rigctld is checked
Serial Speed=38400
Data Bits=8
Stop Bits=1
Parity=default
Handshake=HARDWARE
DTR=ON
RTS=ON
I can get the FT-450d to show up using FLRIG and GRIG just not using CQRLOG.
I just cannot seem to get RIGCTL to talk to my TenTec Omni VI+.
I have a serial port (2) and a USB to serial device. I have set
everything in the "preferencies" to default using /dev/ttyS5 or
/dev/ttyS4 (as reported by using gmesg | grep tty). I put that
info into rc.local. I have also tried /dev/ttyUSB0 with the same
results. I have used this radio with the popular Windoz program
and it deos work. Just wonder what I have not done to let Linux
Mint talk to the serial port or the USB port?

I have been starting to see this problem with 1.7.4. When I try to up/download log files to eqsl or lotw (this last time it was lotw) I get an error that cqrlog has lost connection to the mysql server. I am running a fairly stock Ubuntu 14.04. Becuase I am paranoid I tend to just hit the cancel button which casues cqrlog to close.
Is this a known issue? When it happens again, is there particular data I should be collecting?
Hello. It is possible to filter call's out that allready worked one the same band. (maybe with a checkbox to enable/disable the filter)

I have a question about the "Fields" on a Label - as when I set up my test sheet ready for printing the Fields appear in the wrong order - I have used the exact template used in the cqrlog online help.
The only thing I HAVE done different is in how cqrlog displays my log, ie:- I have moved the columns around to my own preference - could it be this has somehow changed the columns order ? I do not know what the numbers on the Labels Fields represent- maybe I have missed something, not sure.
Is CQRLOG compatible with Mint 16 linux? Anybody have expirience with it? I'm thinking of using it as a hardware glitch prevents me from using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. (13.10 runs but 14.04 will not in both 32 and 64 bit versions)
I've been using CQRLOG for about a year now and have not had any issues with it. Like the fact that it uses HamQTH for the call lookup.
I just downloaded the /0 font. Not sure how to install it. Are there instructions in the archive?
Hello Petr,
can you seperate the RST values/fields? It is better for label printing with glable. Most QSL-Cards have one field for R, for S, and for T on it's back.

Hi Peter,
Can you change TRX-control for GRIG?
It has far better control and more advanced then yours, would be nice if you could use.
As it has an S-meter, and LSB/USB control, Split etc.
I would be very happy if you could change it.
Thanks.
Bas,

Wish list in DX cluster for alerting callsign or group of callsigns from file.
Hi, Petr whether can you add to the preferences Ctrl + P -> "Online log upload" -> field "Disable upload to XXX" in my case it is HRDlog. For each time you need to read message about not good HRD configuration. It would be nice if the program will not sending when this is checked Disabled.
Either the absence of configuration. The program simply does not report the problem.

I've been using CQRLog for a few years now, and I agree, it's the best Linux logging program there is. It's been working fine, but this evening I loaded it up and went to put a call into the Call field on the New Qso screen and the letters doubled, i.e., when I hit K, it put in KK, and when I hit delete, it deleted both K's. All the other fields do the same thing.
I am using CQRLog 1.7.4 in Arch Linux with Fldigi 3.21.81.
Currently, when working a station in Fldigi, I enter the call sign into Fldigi's call window. Fldigi is able to look up information on QRZ, and it can calcualte a bearing, but there is no way to control an antenna rotator that I know of from inside Fldigi.
Is it possible for CQRLog to poll Fldigi prior to saving the contact to the log, to enable me to allow CQRLog to turn my antenna rotator?
Thanks.

I am running a kenwood TS-2000 with CQRLog 1.7.4 in Arch Linux.
Is there any way for CQRLog to read the RF power level settings in the radio and automatically fill in the PWR field?
Thanks.

CQRLOG v1.7.4
Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64bit
HRDLog: Upload failed! Check Internet connection
HamQTH works perfect, but HRDLog gives me this message, i thin i misstake toket, so i get it again from HRDlog site, but result is the same :-(
Will be fine to tune rig direct from log, simple scroll tune over frequency in TRX control window will be FB.
Hello Petr!
I'm running 1.7.3 version on my Slackware 14 book. It controls various types of transcievers by using rigctld daemon.
The question is: can cqrlog control hardware without using (even - starting) rigctld. I mean, can cqrlog emulate rigctl (not rigctld) to operate hardware like fldigi (for examle) does.
It seems to me previous cqrlog versions could do that. But maybe I'm wrong?
Thank you!

After upgrading from 12.04 LTS to 14.04 LTS CQRLOG works very well. No errors. You can update the system without worry.
