I was running 1.7.3 prior and everything was OK. Now with 1.8.1, if I do a sh/dx, no results are returned. sh/wwv and sh/ann work just fine. My DX Spider node is sending spots out

I've just tried installing the latest version of CQRLog on my Linux Mint 14 (nadia) 32-bit PC using this DEB
cqrlog_1.8.1-1_i386.deb
The DEB Package Installer gave me the following error:
Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: libpango-1.0-0 (>=1.14.0)
How do I install this dependancy ?
Hi all,
I wanted to install the new version of cqrlog today and got this error message (sorry, but somehow the code-tags don't work :/ )
# dpkg -i cqrlog_1.8.1-1_amd64.deb Selecting previously unselected package cqrlog.(Reading database ... 202841 files and directories currently installed.)Unpacking cqrlog (from cqrlog_1.8.1-1_amd64.deb) ...dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of cqrlog: cqrlog depends on libpango-1.0-0 (>= 1.14.0); however: Package libpango-1.0-0 is not installed.

Hi Peter,
Since this latest version 1.8.1 I keep getting eQSL QSO's being marked as dupes, however I can't make the message go away.
There are a lot, and I tried uploading via ADIF, doesn't solve it.
Part of the duped being shown:

Being as I am having a most difficult time in getting my Winkeyer USB to work with the program, perhaps it would help knowing what the "CW interface" even looks like?
Is it part of FLDIGI cw oprations or is it standalone from that program?.
I have been very happy using CQRLOG.
Yesterday, I upgraded to 1.8.0 and am experiencing a problem.
If I ctl-0 in order to get to the screen to upload to LoTW, the screen is initially white as is normal. After uploading the file, however, the screen stays gray and does not return to white.
Also, when I opened CQRLOG today, I was asked if I wanted to receive the new QSL managers. After downloading the new QSL manager file, the screen stayed gray and did not return to white.
Hi
Just testing new 1.8.0 and noticed, that when keeping dx-cluster on and then type call and trying to save it, takes huge time to get saved, same time all action in dx-cluster window is stopped. When at last qso saved, then cluster window start "living" again and shows all stopped trafic.
Could be mysql related. I have to return version 1.7.4. That also acting a bit unstable after latest mariadb update in my Fedora20.
Anyone else suffering this?

Hi Petr,
It just occurred to me that it may be possible to send a wildcard with the "Watch For:" callsign in preferences. I think it would be a good idea if possible as I could use ZL* and see which countries could spot New Zealand stations even if I was not calling CQ. I would be grateful if you could look into this please Petr and see if it can be done.

When I start xplanet from the "New QSO Window" it is not centred on my lattitude and longitude but when I start it from the "Test it" button it starts with my QTH centred on the world map. Is there a bug or have I not set something up properly?73, Graeme ZL2APV
Not sure how the two programs work together in the "remote" operation. Should FLDIGI be open and CQRLOG at the same time?
Where do you extract the WinKeyer USB server to use with CQRLOG?
I cant seem to get CRQLOG to open anything related to CW ops in the program. No tune,No CW type, ect.
Thanks.
Hello!
Using K1EL WinKeyer.
Is it possible to program the temporary relative CW speed change during the macro execution, for example to speed up sending the report part during contesting?
For example:
%c de %mc %h ur <INCWPM 5>%rs<DECWPM 5>
or
%c de %mc %h ur <INCWPM 5>%rs</INC5WPM>
Where <INCWPM 5> etc. are internal commands for CQRLOG to parse, calculate the actual new speed and insert the appropriate command code to send to the WinKeyer.
I am unable to connect to the RBN and display spots in the Grayline map. my settings are as follows:
Server: telnet.reversebeacon.net:7300
Login: ZL2APV
Watch for: blank
"Auto connect after open the log" is checked
My DX cluster site is zl2arn.dyndns.org:7300 and I wonder if there is a conflict due to both ports being the same? I have tried without the DX Cluster being connected but still no RBN.
Why can not i upload data to eqsl.cc? my software-open suse 13.1-cqrlog 1.5.8-1.2.
Please help de hg5apa
I made home made interface based on Winkey chip. I tried to make it working with CQRLOG and I found these problems:
1. If window "CW type" is opened, other windows of CQRLOG are frozen and I cannot to control them, also cannot open menus etc. After closing "CW type" window and reopening all is working.
2. If I use window function keys in "CW type" window, it works perfectly. But if I use once mouse click to send a message, function keys stop to work and I must use mouse only. After reloading window all works again.
I'd love to see CQRLog provide support for Transverter. Many operators operate on VHF and VLF bands via Transverters and the ability to apply an offset to the displayed frequency and the frequency written to the log would be of great benifit. How I see this working is as follows:
Transvertor offsets could be defined in the “Frequencies” table accessed from the Preferences | Bands | Preferences page. The Frequencies table could have three new columns as follows:
* tx_offset
* rx_offset
* operator
Petr,
I use CQRLog mainly because of the HamQTH lookup. There are many other reasons too. I noticed that the name and address info does not appear to be stored in the database. If you view a past QSO that info does not appear. I looked in the database, using sql, and could not find it. Is it retained any where?
If not it would be a good addition. With that info I could print mailing labels as well as qso info. Is there a work around? Perhaps a user field or remarks to call sign.

In entry field i cant write anything or letter writes dubble.

I recently work on JT65 and JT9,and I don't use rig control. On JT9 sometimes occures RS "plus value".When minus value, I have no problem. But when "+03", CQRlog changes "+03" to "039".At LoTW I have no problem, for LoTW omits RS.However at eQSL, I need re-edit this value to correct one in text editor.Does it happen to you?
Hello!
I'd like to see one new %macro available for CW messages in the future version:
%rs (Short RST report), where at least 9 is keyed as N.
This way we'd be able to define something like "ur rst is %r %rs", which would be great in my opinion.
Any orher ideas? :)
Thank you!
Hello!
Is there a maximum length for CW macro? It seems that more than 151 characters in the macro introduces problems. Here's an example that you can use to test and confirm this bug. I'm using K1EL Winkeyer WKUSB-SMT.
Defined CW macros:
F1:
cq cq cq de %mc %mc cq cq cq de %mc %mc pse k
F2:
%c de %mc %mc pse k
F3:
%c de %mc = gd dr om es tnx fer call = ur rst %r %r = my name is s i n i s a s i n i s a es my qth is i n d j i j a i n d j i j a = so hw? %c de %mc pse k
Have noticed couple of times, started accidently another cqrlog, but did not open any log, after short while, already running cqrlog informed, that lost connection to mysql server...
So, if want avoid cqrlog restart, do not try open two separate cqrlog...
