Hello,
Using CQRlog version 1.7.4 . Uploads to LoTW had been working prior to lastest ARRL hack. Tried to upload 22 QSO's today and got "file refused" error. on export to LoTW. Tried saving to .adi file, signing it and uploading tq8 file using TQSL. That worked perfectly. Reentered my LoTW password. No change. Certificate appears to loaded OK. Any suggestions?
Error message:

Hello. I've moved to a new QTH a couple of years ago. I've noticed on eQSL that I should have changed my account to show the move as I can't change addresses after a QSL has been accepted. So I deleted the QSL's that where made at my new QTH and then created a new account. But now I need to re-upload those missing QSL's. Is there any way I can get them marked as now uploaded in CQRLOG?
Thanks
In reading over how to install CQLOG and the lst of to be sure to install third party programs, I have downloaded Hamlib as a *.tgz file and extracted it to the home/.config directory. This leads me to my question as to "what to do with it".
I am using cwdaemon to key my tx. Currently I have no parallell port so I have to key via serial port, which works fine also when running rigctld to read rig data as frequency/mode etc.
To use the serial port as keying device I need to use the -d ttyS0 as an option to cwdaemon. Options apart from speed and port can not be set via the cqrlog interface and with the standard setup the serial port keying is useless.
It works fine when I start cwdaemon outside cqrlog, but if I try to restart the keyerdevice from cqrlog, the dtr line is pulled high and keys the tx - ie useless.
Hi,
Hello,
After some OM here had some Problems with mysql, I checked some Installations on two modern Linux Distribution.
Linux Mint 17 and Ubuntu LTS. Both 64 bit Distributions and both fresh Setups.
CQRLOG needs mysql. It won't work with mariadb, a fork of mysql.
First Test was on Linux Mint 17.
In the original PPA, cqrlog Version 1.7.X is included. If you use this Version first, mysql will be installed and everything is working. Updates for newer Version will work also.
cqrlog Version 1.8.2
There is a small issure with this:
LoTW/eQSL were not marked as sent/received after upload/download - fixed
I had some QSO uploaded succesfully to eQSL but they are not marked as Uploaded after a refresh of the Log-Window or after restarting cqrlog.
It had worked for some QSOs but stopped now. The Upload himself worked.

I am using CQRLOG at home with Lubuntu 14.04 and it works great. However at our lake cabin I cannot get it to work properly also using Lubunti 14.04 on a seperate computer. The log will open but has the "database upgrade crashed with this error: error executing query: duplicate column name 'upddeleted". error message I have tried the fix the Petr suggests that modifys the mysql database settings and that does not work. In fact mysql appears to not be installed at all. The log works but the DX cluster does not show stations and I don't think the the HamQTH upload is working either.
I am quite new to Linux so excuse me if I am missing something that already exists... My question is if it is possible to use the Log as one piece and not as separate windows? Or it should go to a Wish List? I am on Ubuntu 14.04.1
Hi,
i find a really good idea when it is possible to change the cw speed also from the
"CW KEYS" window. It will be sometime a great help .Maybe its not difficult to make that.

Hi,
I updated to version 1.8.2 on ubuntu 11.04. All works fine as far as I can see. THen I enabled auto backup and when I quit the program it starts to do the backup but in the middle it stops with a message saying access violation. I tried to do an export form the qso list and that works fine. I think the backup is just an export so why behave different.
Any ideas?
thanks

I maybe Missing something, but the time frame to run the uploads seema a bit much. I started my logs two days ago. I do not have a status on the percent of progress. I also seem to be stuck (new tonight) and not sure what to do. I think there should be a better way.
As an FYI, I was loading up HamQTH. I have not tried any others yet.

Hi,
I am using version 1.8.1 on Ubuntu 14.04.
I see that you using the command-line interface to the K3NG keyer.
I think this is a very good idea sinc the winkeyer protocol is not quite
right in the K3ng keyer.
I found that the only way I could get CLI to work is to first connect to
the port using a terminal program (kermit) and then it would work.
If I did not do this, the keyer would send strings of ???? , meaning
it did not understand what it was being sent. My guess is that that
Hi,
When I open cqrlog I am not getting a list of logs as usual. The MySql.err file shows the following.
I am running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and I cannot get riigctl working on 1.8.1 version.
when I test rigctl with:
rigctl -m 229 -r /dev/ttyUSB0 -s 9600 --set-conf=rts_state=ON
then f, I got the frequency.
The same config in preferences shows nothing and the rigctld process started 'with the program' is identified as 'defect'.
Does someone has an idea?
Thanks
Philippe
Thanks for the opportunity.
One question, if possible.

Aloha,

I'm new to linux at this level but have read a lot of posts on this forum. I had the frequency showing from my TS-570d ....
Everything was working then came home to a re-booted computer and now it doesn't work. not sure where to look. Not sure where to go from here....Jim NH6HI

Hello.
I changed tu ubuntu 14.04.1 and cqrlog 1.8.1 now.
So I tried to import my old data from my daily adif-import.
After 1584 records cqrlog say comleted and no error. But the adif-file have more than 3000 entrys.I tried with the adif-export from an other day... the same result.
Is there a solution for that ?

Hi @all,
i have a question. I use Debian 7.6 Linux and cwdaemon version 0.9.4.
For cq contest i use yfktest and the cwdaemon with the ttyS0 port. I MUST start cwdaemon only under SU and starting then yfktest. It works very well.
i now try to use CQRLOG under linux and want to give cw with it. It didnt work.
I make the settings like i find it here in the forum :
- interface type : cwdaemon
- localhost with port 6789
before i start CQRLOG i start cwdaemon with:
- cwdaemon - d ttyS0 - b
I have "Enable auto search on HamQTH/QRZ.com" checked and it work beautifully. It appears to use HamQTH exclusively but perhaps it uses QRZ when HamQTH fails. I was wondering if there was a way to force QRZ or at least make it go there 1st.
It's a nice feature to see LoTW and eQSL users in DXCluster window and in New QSO window. A couple of weeks ago eQSL users stopped being visible. It seems eqsl.txt file is empty. The date of the latest (empty) file is anyhow the same than lotw1.txt file which contains LoTW users so the maintenance routine seems to be running normally.
Has eQSL stopped giving user lists for outsiders or is this a bug in the update routine? I have two installations in 2 different PC's, one is 1.8.1 and the other is 1.7.4, and both have the same behaviour.

I am seeing something a bit strange to explain. It maybe related to my previous issue.
With Linux running, I can use rtlctl to controll my rotor. Things seem to work just fine. When I fire up CQRLOG, i hear the relays engage / disengage. I have seem cases where the rotor will move. I am not sure what is going on. This may be tough to troubleshoot. Suggestions??

If the new version will fix this, I am looking forward to it!
Hi,
It looks like clear databas in utils menu is not working. The following error occurs every time clear is selected.
: Error executing query: Cannot truncate a table referenced in a foreign key constraint (`cqrlog005`.`log_changes`, CONSTRAINT `log_changes_ibfk_1` FOREIGN KEY (`id_cqrlog_main`) REFERENCES `cqrlog005`.`cqrlog_main` (`id_cqrlog_main`)).
you can still delete and recreate the databas to clear it.

Now that D-STAR is becoming more popular as an HF digital mode, I looked to see if it was listed as a mode in CQRLog. However, it is no where to be seen.
Would you please add this as a mode?
