Just installed a clean Ubuntu 14.04. 3 G processor and 2.8 G memory. OS seems to run ok. Installed CQRLog 1.8 from ok2cqr repository. Created datafile. Set preferences for HamQTH. Even reset password. The address info does not appear in the box at the lower right of the QSO entry screen. If I connect to HamQTH, using the little tab, the callsign data appears on HamQTH but not in the box. I have a valid connection to the internet and can access variuos sites with no problems.
I have version 1.7+ installed on another PC running Ubuntu 12.04 and the call lookup works.

I want to count different call signs without the relation to band and mode.If one may be allowed to wish, also without the relation to his portable QTH.

Hi all,
LoTW qsl's seem to download ok be but CQRlog doesn't process and mark log acordingly.
New QSO's are shown but still show as 'new' on each download.
This is a recent problem it seems.
Great program by the way.

Error during connection to database: Server connect failed.
Hello,
Can this feature be turned off (in the config file maybe)? I use that field for contests and I don't want that field to be pushed to eQSL. It doesn't have to be a gui fix, I'm fine with editing the config file to change it if it's there.
Thank you,
Marc-Andre, VE2EVN

I have used Linux on and off for a few years and have recently come back after Ubuntu 14.04 LTS was released. After using Ham Radio Delux on Windows, then moving back to CQRLog on Ubuntu I have come to the realization that quality software doesn't need to cost $100 per year.
Thank you to the authors for making this available to the amateur radio community. Your hard work and dedication are greatly appreciated.

If I select the QSO-list I get the following error{1]
If I select "DXCC Statistics", I get[2]
I don't know, if its the same bug, but this messages appeared at the same time this evening.
With an older backup of my mysql database, everything is fine.
I am working with cqrlog 1.8.1 i386 on debian testing.
Thanks for your good work, let me know if I can help you out with debugigng information on this issue!

cqrlog-1.7.4 is ok runnng with MySQL-5.6.20.
After upgrading to binary cqrlog-1.8.1, it stops immedaitely after startup with error message:
Error during connection to database: TMySQL55Connection can not work with the installed MySQL client version: Expected (5.5), got (5.6.20).
Should I stick with 1.7.4 for now? Thanks and 73,

Hi,
this morning I've experienced problems with uploading qso's to LoTW. I get the following error message:
I want to enter old paper logs from 30 years ago.
How can I adjust CQRLOG so that I can see the entries as it only shows me one page of entries not all of them.
If CQRLOG cannot do this task, can anyone recommend a tool or program that can do this?

When cqrlog is opened the screen with the bug and version show and the log selector box comes up with a third box that server connection did not work.
Today 1.81 came in and was installed. Then the computer locked up. No response from keyboard or mouse. FInally killed computer with power button. After that cqrlog will not run. i forced back to version 1.73 and still would not run. then upgraded to 1.81 again and same results. it cannot connect to the database server or whatever that is.
I'm entering old data (from the 1970's) in CQRLOg, but whenever I mark a QSL Card as received, it uses TODAYS date. I'd like to enter a more correct date. How do I do this?
Hello All. I recently installed Linux Mint KDE and when I installed CQRLOG and started it I get the messsage "Database upgrade crashed with this error: Error executing query: Duplicate column name 'upddeleted'". I click OK on that screen and CQRLog loads to the main New QSO screen then I get a popup that says "List index (11) out of bounds. Presss OK to ignore and risk data corruptioon....." Is this a problem with the myqsl database, or the one that replaced it (Maria something) and how do I fix it? Thanks in advance.
How do I get CQRLog to let me enter data from old files? It keeps insisting on using 2014!
Hi,
That new version can not install on Debian7. Error message:

I am running CQRLog 1.8.1 on Linux Mint 17 - Qiana. Every time that there is a package update, or any time I install a new application package, CQRLog and mariadb are removed from my system. I have to re-install CQRLog following this. The removal does not actually affect the mariadb database, and the associated "logs" created in the database. Also, it seems that the CQRLog program is actually still in place (as I suspect mariadb is also intact) - just that the linkages are broken.
Hi,
Just worked Cathy N5WVR and when entering the new QSO I stumbled upon "<b>His</b> RST"... Hey, there are still some YLs around in ham radio community! It might be better to have "her/his RST" in this label... :-)
Thanks and 73,
Pavel AC4PA
I have version 1.8.1 and lost my hard drive, i have eqsl and downloaded the .adi file and need to import it, what is the process since the help file is for 1.7 and its menus are different. Thank you
HI,
I closed the log at 18h, and now, when reopening, I have an error message: "" is a invalid integer.
CQRLog closes. Can not open it!
Help me please !!
Ubuntu 14.04 and CQRLog 1.8.1
Hello All,
My first posting, so excuse mistakes
I am interested in using CQRlog for logging and FLdigi for digital modes
and CW keying.
One of the best features of CQRlog is that when you enter the call letters into the call letter blank on the log, you get the QTH info (zone, etc) looked up. When you set CQRlog to 'Remote', however, you apparently (unless I have missed something) have to actually log the QSO in FLdigi to have it transferred to the CQRlog log file and the call letter lookup is not available.
After a fresh installation of 1.8.1 on CentOS 6.5 I get the error:
Table 'mysql.proc' doesn't exist
when enable upload to HRDLog.net is selected and entering a new qso.
Only without the enable upload to HRDLog.net, the qso can be entered into the log.
Please advise

Hello to all,
I've got a problem that I am not able to overcome. Since last few months once I open th program I got an error message "Error during connection to database: Server connect failed". There is an apparent interference with Mozilla browser and as I close it, it works ok .
To sum it up it looks like I cannot run CQRLOG and a Mozilla Firefox browser session at the same time.
Anybody can help me ?
Cheers
