TQSL Installation

I see that the latest TQSL is V2.4.3. I currently have 2.3.1 installed which is what synaptic has available for my Mint 19.1. A tar is available but with my limited Linux skills I have no idea how to compile and install it. Can someone help with a step by step procedure on how to compile and install the latest TQSL or point me towards one? V 2.3.1 seems to work fine for me but I would like to have the latest installed if I can figure out how to do it.

TS-850 not responding to rigctrld

Hi,

Now that I have CQRlog up and running again, one thing keeps bugging me.
Even though I use the proper settings for my radio, a frequency and/or mode are rarely, if at all, displayed in TRX control.
Nor can I reliably send a bandswitch command from TRX control. I have the pollrate at 10 seconds (10000) milliseconds.

Weird thing is that when rigctld running solely in a terminal it reads everything. I can send commands to the TS-850 and it responds accordingly.

Rasp Pi 3 B + - upload to ClubLog failed

Hello,
I am using a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ running:
PRETTY_NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch)"
NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux"
VERSION_ID="9"
VERSION="9 (stretch)"

I am running CQRLOG 2.3.0 (001) 2018-06-07

When I select to upload new QSO's to ClubLog the status of the log upload shows:
ClubLog: Upload failed! Check Internet connection

I have two other computers, both running the same CQRLOG version on Ubuntu 18.04 that have no problems uploading.

What else could be done to problem solve this?

TRX Control and Icom CIV

FYI

I just discovered that CQR-Log/TRX Control expect Decimal values in "Extra command line arguments"

Icom 7200 has default CIV-address hex76, and if you also is using wsjt-x, it is as far as I can see not possible to change it. (No choice for that in wsjtx)

The solution is to use "Extra command line arguments" in CQRLogs TRX Control.
if you put "--civaddr=118" in this coloum (Hex76) it will work with default values.

CQRlog error connecting to database. Expecting 5.5 got 5.7

Hi,

I have been almost inactive due to severe qrm but nevertheless I'd like to have CQRlog running for the occasional QSO.

Recently, I upgraded my Mint 17.3 to 18.3 and I can't seem to get CQRlog running.
Something in the line of the title comes up and, basically, that's it.

Here are the last 20 lines of mysql.err:
