I am finally getting around Fldigi working with CQRLog. Everything is working except the logging piece.
Hello,
I think this part (database) of CQRLOG being the most "not so easily manageable" by everybody.
ISSUE 1:
I cannot upload new QSO's because evidently some database table has been marked as "already sent QSO" but I want to to force the application to re-send these QSO to remote servers, so how can I do it?
ISSUE 2:
I created a new log Nº3 and I made a single QSO and saved it there, then I attempted to upload it on LOTW web page but I get the following error:
I'm trying to export a log in Cabrillo format. It will only export 599 contacts of the 820 in the log. Doesn't seem to matter how I filter it.
Any suggestions?

Hello,
I recently installed KDE Neon and CQRLog. I also installed FLDIGI and WSJT-x via Discover. It installed the FlatHub version of both programs. I am trying to setup the remote for both programs but cannot seem to find what directory to point to for cqrlog to start these programs? any help would be great.
Thanks

Hi,
Currently I am on Ubuntu 18.04, CQRlog 2.5.2(001) and MariaDB 10.5.11 and I am planning to upgrade to Ubuntu 20.04.
My cqrlog database on laptop replicate to database on raspberrypi in both directions.
CQRlog on latop is configured to use ip address and port 3306 instead of 'Save log data on local machine'.
As I am not any kind of coder it cost me some effort and time to get it worked. AFAIK default sql for Ubuntu 20.04 is MySQL, not MariaDB.
Since I am a fairly new user (since 1 week effectively) I do not know if this is a bug in the narrow sense, so... hear me out.
If I open the QSO-List and go to QSL -> QSL-sent -> Will send -> eQSL (SE), I am understanding that I communicate to CQRLog that I only plan to confirm this QSO via EQSL.
So if i then go to QSL -> eQSL -> Upload and finish the procedure successfully, I would assume that CQRLog could switch the QSL-sent-Column from "SE" to "E", since the user did what he marked the QSO for.
Hi all,
just noticed that the CQRLOG DXCluster sends out spots typed in by hand twice. CQRLOG version is 2.5.2 (001).
A screenshot of the behaviour can be found here:
https://5tx.de/dev/null/clx_bug.png
Other hams reported to me, that the spots really appeared two times in their local DX cluster.

Good afternoon,
First of all, many thanks to the developers for creating and making CQRLOG available. I am relatively new to amateur radio, and I like the quality and features of the package.
Hi all,
I was switching back and forth between wsjt and normal logging and suddenly the wsjt monitor window no longer appears!
Running CQRlog in debug mode doesn't show anything out of the ordinary.
Is there some way to get that window back ?
Also .... it would be nice if the size and position of the wsjt monitor window was saved like all the other windows.
My system is...
OS Ubuntu 20.04.03 LTS
CQRlog 2.5.2
thanks
Tim
Hello everyone,
I have just started migrating to CQRLOG(2.5.2) and I'm having a bit of bother with the CAT control of my mcHF and could use a few clues to help me trace the problem.
The problem is that when I connect to the mcHF from CQRLOG, the logger's screen updates with the frequency currently tuned in but then the rig starts transmitting. It stays with TX on, even if I unplug the USB cable, until I press the tune button twice. From then on, every time I press the PTT, the rig stays transmitting until, again I press the tune button twice.
I want to upgrade CQRLOG. On the Pi I download from github and go through the "make" process. However when I do the install CQRLOG installs hamlib into /usr/bin. I have the latest release of hamlib install - it's location is /usr/local/bin. When CQRLog installs to /usr/bin it creates issues.
There is somewhere in the documentation that gives you the option NOT to install hamlib with CQRLOG? When I installed the older version of CQRLog from the add/remove programs it doesn't install hamlib programs. How do I make cqrlog and not install hamlib with it?
Thanks!

Hello!
When selecting "Callbook > Database update" the program hangs on the first QSO. No information or error is generated. I let it sit working for about a hour just hoping... :-) This was also tested on my laptop with OpenSUSE Tumbleweed 15.3 with the same results. Back in ancient times with OpenSUSE 15.1 everything seemed to work just fine. Any suggestions?

Hi,
is there any documentation about how CQRLOG uses the ADIF fields
"QSL_SENT:1"
"QSL_RCVD:1"
"APP_CQRLOG_QSLS:1"
"APP_CQRLOG_QSLR:1"
be handled internally? Which characters are entered here and when?
I could use the information well for my own internal evaluation of the ADIF file.

I was having issues with this install and found my solution here. https://www.cqrlog.com/node/2984
providing the symlink mentioned and compiling source from git repository worked for me.
I am now running latest CQRLOG on Ubuntu 21.04 with latest hamlib and Mariadb 10.5
I hope this will help others who may be having this issue

Hello everyone,
The LINUX CQRLOG Logbook is now compatible with the « CRXLOGBOOK » (online Logbook cloud instance).
=> It allows new QSOs from CQRLOG to be forwarded in the online log,
the system operates in « offline » mode (portable/dx operation)
and can be launched manually or automatically via a LINUX CRON.
=> It works with all versions of CQRLOG and is independent.
=> It’s available here : https://project.crx.cloud/cqrlog_online_crxlogbook

Logging either online or offline, I cannot input the Frequency field on the New QSO page, to load the correct frequency. Only seems to be happening on 40M for SSB. Unless I load the default 7.000 frequency which is in the drop down box, I get and error and request to load the correct one. Cannot put the correct frequency in the frequency field. An endless loop and all my 40M logging for SSB are in error. What did I do wrong? What is the fix? Thanks!
Hello the team,
Actually the software can only syncronise QSO to few online services hamqth, clublog, hrdlog.
Is it possible to add a generic configuration for QSO-ADIF Webservice syncronisation ?
Hello to all,
I'm Bastien F4EYQ creator of CRXLOGBOOK ( ham radio tools on the Cloud ).
I search how to integrate CQRLOG with online LOGBOOK instance ( CRXLOGBOOK ).
=> For that i need to send : a QSO in ADIF format to an URL ( POST or GET ) from CQRLOG.
To do that, user generate a "security token" on his logbook on the Cloud,
And configure his logbook on his computer via a simple URL to forward all new QSO for exemple :
I'm attempting a new CQRLOG 2.5.2.001 installation on EdeavourOS (arch) and am receiving the following error during the first time new database creation:
TMySQL57Connection : Error executing query: Error on rename of './cqrlog001/log_changes' to './cqrlog001/#sql-backup-7989-4' (errno: 168 "Unknown (generic) error from engine").
Press OK to ignore and risk data corruption.
Press Abort to kill the program.
MariaDB version = 10.6.3-1

i just started rebuilding my files after a total PC crash. installed CQRlog but it will not run
need some help......
error file shows:

I'm using Ubuntu 21.04 and Cqrlog 2.5.1
I tried to import an adif file and it reports no errors but won't import anything. I've tried creating a new log and importing various adif files including my backup file. I then found out there was a new version of Cqrlog, 2.5.2, so I tried to install it but get the following error message: The following packages have unmet dependencies.
cqrlog : Depends: libhamlib2 (>= 1.2.10) but it is not installable
Depends: libmariadbclient-dev but it is not installable
