LOTW Error when downloading from website or importing local adi

Hello:

I keep getting an error when I try to download from the ARRL LOTW site, or import a local adif file after download, when using the QSO list QSL import feature. The error message is:

":0" is an invalid integer

I cannot seem to fix this problem. I deleted cqrlog (on ubuntu), removed the .config files and started from scratch with a reinstall.
I successfully imported a saved .adi file, so my log was complete. I just can't get it to update whether I have received an LOTW QSL.

Any ideas?

Can not load local database

Trying to revert to using local database (not via 3306 port). Gets the following error from mysql.err;

Can't open .cnf file

I experience the following issue when running the command "cqrlog -debug=1" from the command line...

Could not open required defaults file: /home/rich/.config/cqrlog/database/mysql.cnf
Fatal error in defaults handling. Program aborted
TMySQL56Connection : Server connect failed.

That's it.

I don't see a search function in the forum, so I am at a loss on how to proceed.

Band Abbreviations

Perhaps this has been mentioned before so my apologies if it has been addressed. I searched back through the forum and did not find any recent mention of it. I've been using CQRLOG for over a year but I'm new to the forum.

Wrong frequency shown in Frequency field in New QSO window

After several years of happy usage, suddenly the frequency field shows wrong values. For instance, I have my IC7300 now tuned in 7190 and field shows 153.040. I move the dial and the frequency on the field changes but with wrong values.

And amazingly I call wsjtx from the application and frequencies of FT8 QSOs are transferred and shown properly.

No changes in the configuration were made, at least on purpose. My Hamblib version is 4.5.
I have the following parameters in TRX control window:

POTA SOTA

Anyway to track these two? POTA (Parks On The Air) SOTA (Summits On The Air), Oh also what hapend to the search in the forums?

New Install on New Computer with Settings From Old computer?

Any suggestions on how to install new cqrlog on new computer with settings from old cqrlog on old computer. I have been using it ten years now and hate to start over.

Wrong country name for D2UY

Hi, all
I made a contact with D2UY this morning, and I noticed that the country name shown on the country column was Thailand.
On the contrary, in DXCC info, it is shown as Angola.
It would be grateful if you let me know how to fix this.

Upgraded from Ubuntu 20.04 to 22.04 and now having problems - HELP!

After upgrade, CQRLog can't open my logbook databases.

Here's a print of the last 20 or so lines from mysql.err

Is it true that 22.04 no longer supports MySQL and everyone has to move to MariaDB? I don't even know how to do that yet. Once MySQL has been remove (not sure how) and MariaDB installed, will CQRLog be able to open my old log files?

I've got a crash report on Fedora. I'll post the bugzilla link but an account is required to view so I'll post some of the details here:

Window popped up that new QSL Managers available
Clicked yes to install
clicked on callsign entry box
program crashed.

getting an error while installing on ubuntu 22.04 LTS please check the log & help me to resolve it.

No bandwidth control, IC-7300

Just upgraded to Kubuntu 22.04. There were a few configuration issues but sorted them out. However having a problem with CQRLOG always setting the filter on the IC-7300 to #1. I've tried adjusting settings in preferences/modes but there is no control, same in all modes. Thanks in advance, Colin... VE1CSM

ClubLog upload for previous callsigns

Hello,

Occasionally, I still get QSLs for contacts I made many years ago with a previous callsign. Even though these are in my current log and (I think) were uploaded to ClubLog from CQRLOG, whenever I update a QSO I made with my prior callsign it can't upload the update to ClubLog. Is there a way around this, or is there a setting I haven't set?

View of additional fields in qso entry window

Hi,
If I switch additional fields in the setup, for example rxfreq, srx, stx, contestname they are not in the entry/edit window. So how can these entries be inserted/edited?

How can I add contests which are not in the list? (For example I need IARU VHF SSB contest)

Where is country in database?

I like to query the database directly to harvest certain QSO information for a web page and I've noticed that there does not appear to be a field in the cqrlog_main table for country, yet country appears in the application. So where does it get that from? Where could I find country in the database? How can I query to retrieve it?

Ubuntu 22.04 upgrade broke several things

I recently upgraded my Ubuntu installation from 20.04 to 22.04. I have some problems. First, I am getting an error with every QSO save, "Access Violation". If I choose ignore, the QSO will save but it adds another "click" to continue. A second problem is that under TRX control, the list for "Rig Model" has disappeared. Hamlib updated to version 4.3. Not relating directly to CQRLog, but I also can't run /usr/bin/cqrlog from the command line. It does nothing. I can run with sudo, but then it is running as root and not with my information. HELP!

How to force upload QSO on HamQTH, HRDLog and ClubLog?

Hello,

After the crash and the recovery of my CQRLOG, now I notice a weird issue:
The table populated with my ADIF backup which I have recovered, results already uploaded despite I make new QSO's.

From the SQL console integrated into the program I see that id_log_changes column have the value = 1.

I'm trying to set it to 0 but my skill with MySQL seems to be decreased a lot!

How can I modify these rows (by setting them to 0) so that I can restart to upload my new QSO's on the remote logbook sites?

MariaDB error CQRLOG not usable due missing DB

Hello,

My laptop has requested a reboot when MySQL (MariaDB) was not yet closed.

After rebooting zypper has installed new MariaDB server/client (mysql Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.8.3-MariaDB, for Linux (x86_64) using EditLine wrapper) and then as soon I restarted CQRLOG, I see this error:

TRX control issues with FT-857D

I took my old FT-857D back into service. Mostly everything is OK, but two things with TRX control screen behave oddly.

1) Trying to change the mode by clicking the mode buttons with mouse doesn't work. Buttons do change colour, when I change the mode from the rig. With my other rig (FT-1000MP) modes change with mouse click.

2) When I try to change the band to 70cm from the TRX control window, FT-857D jumps to 3.750MHz. All other bands work perfectly. If I change the band from the rig, TRX control shows the right frequency OK.

IGNORE You must enter correct frequency (in MHz) for 7.277 MHz

Can't find out how to delete a message. Disregard this one below, found answer in archives.

I am running CQRLOG 2.5.2(001) on Ubuntu 18.04. I am getting the error "You must enter correct frequency (in MHz)" when trying to save a QSO data with a frequency of anything over 7.2 MHz (ie 7.277). I live in the USA and we can use all the way to 7.3 MHZ. Is there some preference I might have missed to get the correct frequency bounds?
