Is there a solution to avoid importing field like locator from LoTW ?
For example, I would like to keep locator empty field (or with existing data), but not replaced by value coming from LoTW.
I don't see (in source files) the rule of which fields are replaced or not from import.

I'm new to using CQRLog and was interested in using it with my IC-705. I think I can connect it to the radio via Flrig but I noticed that as of yet there doesn't seem to be a way to connect directly from CQRLog. Am I missing something. It seems to be a fantastic program by the way and using it with a Raspberry Pi

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that after the last update, see Wish List-Skipping Data Fields, the cursor does not return to the call input field after a contact is logged?

Since I transitioned to Fedora 35 I have a problem with the character set (probably related to MariaDB).
When I type in UTF-8 characters (as swedish å,ä and ö) the form will accept the characters but as soon as I save the post or edit an old entry, CQRLOG displays some good old 7-bit substitutes.

Wonder if another option could be made available 0ther than hamqth and QRZ? I am finding information on hamqth is outdated and QRZ doesn't provide all the data since I do not pay them for it.
Other options? Not sure what is out there. I was researching buckmaster and free account looks like it would fill the qth information fields and it lists many log programs as using their site. Of course those are all windows log programs. Not that familiar with other log programs and options they are using.

As it is now mode code '0' is exported for a QSO when there is no match between the TX mode and the standardized TX modes in IARU-R1 VHF Handbook page 94. This is in line with the standard. But the mode code "7" a.k.a. "RTTY - MGM" (MGM = Machine Generated Mode) is a generic TX mode for all digital modes like FT4, FT8 etc.
When exporting the EDI file there are sometimes a minor error in the distance calculation. The reason is that the function used do a round of the QRB calculation.
According to IARU-R1 VHF Handbook chapter 5.9.1, page 165, "For the amateur bands up to 10 GHz inclusive, points will be scored on the basis of one point per kilometre, i.e. the calculated distance in kilometres will be truncated to an integer value and 1 km will be added."
A filter for propagation mode would be handy for satellite qso's.
Is it possible at the moment, if is how ?
I like to chase grids on satellites, and being able to filter satellite qso's would be very handy

Wonder if anyone is using the new SDR++ software yet along with rig control.
The setup I was using with Cubic SDR that K4VBB came up with doesn't seem to work with this software.
What I found was rigctrld cannot be running or SDR++ won't connect to it. It wants to start the server.
Letting it start the server I then can connect to CQRLog but now SDR++ is acting as the radio. My actual radio (Ten Tec Orion) is now out of the loop and I can't find a way to get it back in the loop.
I am new to Linux, so I will need specific directions on how to fix this.
I installed the Linux version (deb) which is running on Zorin and got an error message. DB problem. MySQL could not be started. Check to see if MYSQL server is installed properly.
There is a minor error in the Export format "EDI for contests".
In the IARU-R1 VHF Handbook https://www.iaru-r1.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/VHF_Handbook_V9.01.pdf on page 91 are the allowed PBand listed. Unfortunately are not the right ones being exported for 2m and 70cm. It may cause problem with some test robots. A diff is provided below:
Strange issue. everything was working fine. testing out CQR Log had 2 entries in the log book all is well. went to test another entry with auto QRZ.com search enabled and now after i type 2 letters of the call the program locks up and i cant' do anything further.
i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. clearing out the folder in ./config/cqrlog no luck. any help on how to start troubleshooting this would be fantastic.

a reupload contact button would be nice. When loggin contacts cqrlog very often fails with uploading logs to clublog, if one error occurs the all subsequent qso's will fail to upload to clublog/lotw etc.
I would like to see an option to allow skipping of data input fields. For instance it takes 10 tabs to move from the RST received field to the State field. If you are connected to a call database and any of the data is incorrect it takes too many tabs to change it. and if you are not connected to a call database and want to enter data well.........

cqrlog is gone on my raspberry pi. I installed it, set it up and it worked just fine.
Now, a few days later - and maybe some updates later - cqrlog is gone. The folders are still there but there is no executable on my machine anymore.
Any suggestions?

today I tried to export QSL-labels for printing. Some time ago (with an older version of cqrlog) it worked very well.
Now I get the error "TMySQL57Connection : Error executing query: Data too long for column 'loc' at row 1."
I am using "cqrlog 2.5.2 (001) 2021-02-12" as provided via github on a debian bookworm (testing).
Hey, I have such an antenna switcher program courtesy of my son. I use it in conjunction with CQRLOG, I know some windows programs use ORTSP, but CQRLOG doesn't support it so far. Therefore, if someone is interested, the program can be tested.

I'm using version 2.5.2 (001) and the rotor turns when I click LongPath or Short Path. It also moves when I enter a bearing and hit enter but it doesn't move when I click Turn Left or Turn Right. I do believe I have the right settings as it moves when I select the path and the correct Azimuth shows on the display.

Tried to install CQRLOG from the Fedora repository using Fedora 35. I have the mariadb server installed and working. However, CQRLOG will ot install due to the following errors:
First i am having issues getting CQRLog to see the flex. i do not have problems with any other logging program i have tried. wsjt-x works perfectly fine for it so i feed cqrlog with that. but i was wondering if anyone has a trick to getting the flex to work properly with cqrlog itself.
second i am having the dreaded issue of cqrlog disconnecting from my db and only finding out when i try log a contact in wsjt-x or when i try close the program.
even with the issues i do like the program.

Does anyone know how to reach out to the upstream maintainer for the Arch AUR? I reported three months ago that all three ways to install cqrlog leaves you with the inability to create a new database. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

For some reason a big number of QSOs in my log has the “QSL sent date” filled.
I tried to use the “group edit” to clean it up but it doesn’t work… the return is that I have to enter a valid date.
Is there a way to get empty that field (in a group base)?
