Hi there - my Query relates to the callbook lookup support for QRZ.COM and despite being an xml subscriber it does'nt appear to work after entering my call/pass'w in preferences.
When I use Fldigi lookups take about 2 seconds to populate the log fields so I know the system works !
Here am running Linux Mint "Petra" cinnamon with CQRLOG v 1.73 - any ideas appreciated.
Thanks.

This is written On Status of log upload
ClubLog: Uploading Z6/LZ1BJ
ClubLog: Rejected: 'Z6/LZ1BJ' does not map by prefix or exception to any DXCC on the date in question. Skipping QSO.
This process remains in cqrlog with each update online QSO and prevents the subsequent addition of new QSO on clublog. How can I eliminate this action by cqrlog and allow the regular upload of new QSO?

I've noticed that the "comment to QSO" field gets populated with strings like this:
"DIRECT SASE OR SAE/IRC/ $1, BUREAU, LOTW, EQSL, QRZ.COM LOGBOOK"
I use the comment to QSO for comments about that particular QSO, such as what we talked about or a contest exchange.
If I log a QSO and then I discover I had an error with the callsign and edit the call, the QSO details from HamQTH lookup remain and of course are wrong. At this point there are 2 possibilities ...
1. The data was there from the previous lookup
2. The data was entered from information exchanged during the qso
It would be nice to have a pop up box when saving the edit to give you the option of looking up the newly changed callsign info or saving the current info. At the same time it would be good to reset the lotw and eqsl sent so the data can be uploaded correctly.
I receive a message in the "Status of log upload" window ...
HamQTH: Deleting original 3B9/OE4AAC
HamQTH: Could not delete original QSO data
3B9/OE4AAC is in my CQRLog but is not in the HamQTH log somehow and it appears that an update can't be made unless it is. I assume the solution is to upload my complete log again to add the callsign which is missing but maybe there is iome refresh method so I ask first.

<p>I have to go to Preferences > CW interface, de-select winkeyer and select cwdaemon ,then re-select winkeyer for it to work. This is repeatable.</p>

I use Digital modes almost exclusively and find the following behavior on my system (Ubuntu 12.04 LTS with CQRLog 1.7.3)
GM. I recently added eqsl to my list of QSL options for stations I work. I indicated that I use eqsl on both HamQTH and QRZ.com. When I enter my call sign, KK4LSG, into the new qso screen as if I am working myself, I only see the icon indicating that I upload to LOTW. Could someone on the list point me to the location that CQRLOG searches to determine whether the LOTW or eqsl icon appears under the comment window. I would like to make sure both show up if someone works me.
Thanks for any insight.

Hi
Just wanted inform, that Kenwood ts-590s works superb withcqrlog. Just needed set /dev/ttyS0 and baudrate 9600, allother as default...
Afraid, that making qso is going to be too easy :)

The database caters for IOTA information but not for SOTA information.
Considering that recent stats showed that there were only 1400 IOTA participants but there are currently 7000 SOTA participants it would seem sensible to support SOTA.
Also the latest adif spec now contains SOTA related fields.

I have a small problem. Will try to describe, for instance I have entity 3A ok (confirmed) on 40m and 20m and worked also on 30 and 17 m. This status shows correctly in the dxcc statistics window and is consistent with the log data.
In the qso entry window these four bands are shown with X, no indication of confirmed status or similar.. I have asked cqrlog to recreate the statistics, but no change also after cqrlog restart.
xPlanet where are the config files?
Found a Bug in the CQRLOG Forum.
HTML Tags (Filtered/Non-Filtered) won´t work at all.
In preview Mode everything seems ok, but when you make the post,
the written Text is displayed completely without Line Feeds. And completely messed up.
for example: http://www.cqrlog.com/comment/3235#comment-3235
It is not possible to edit your posts after sending.
Maybe i am missing something...

Hello Petr!
Another wish :)
Is it possible to appear in the window Grayline call signs with the colors as DXspot?
Hi
I'm having trouble with Rig Controi under Ver 1.7.3 The rig cycles thru the filter when I start the program, but there is no current frequency being displayed. I checked the debug file and it looks to me like the program is setting the timeout value to the same value as the port number. Is there a configuration file where I can edit this. Here's the output from the debug file (a small portion)
Hello.
Just a small "bug" I noticed. Sometimes if I need to check some details of a recent QSO, perhaps to edit something, I then right click the QSO in the list and click "Edit QSO". Then if I realize I don't need to save, I usually press ctrl+F2 to blank fields for a new QSO, or else I press Enter to save.
Hi Petr,
it would be great if i have selected auto upload log after save QSO.
When the program sends QSO auto closing window, or other behavior at selected this function, sending the log in the background?
Only errors reported in the window.
Of course, manually send logs - let them remain as they are now.

I'm not clear on the meaning of "Database Connection Log 001".
Do I continue to place all my data into "Log 001"?
Do I need to change to a different log after I have uploaded to LOTW? Or, do I continue with Log 001 and only export QSO's that have not been uploaded.
Why or when would one need to change to a different log? How does one change to a different log?
Sorry for having to ask all these questions but I was not able to find answers in the documentation.
Thanks!
Gary
Hi Petr,
I have worked several stations in Hawaii (KH6) and Alaska (KL7) on 160 meters.
If I look at "DXCC statistics" (Statistics -> DXCC), there is an "X" in the box for both Hawaii and Alaska.
However, if I look at "WAS statistic" (Statistics -> WAS) there is no "X" in the box for Hawaii and Alaska.
Is this a bug or do I need to change something in my configuration?
Thanks,
Gary
Thor and Contestia are missing in the modes list, which causes dropped imports from Fldigi. Please add Thor and Contestia to the mode list. Thank you.

I have installed CQRLOG 1.7.3 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
However, I do not have the top menu on any of the screens.
By "top menu" I mean the menu that says "File..Statistics...Grayline..", etc.
Linux is not my main operating system so I would appreciate if someone can tell me how I can get the top menu to display.
Thanks!
Yes, I know 14.04 is still in beta/unstable but I want to test it with CQRLog 1.7.3.1. CQRLog installed OK, no problem at all. Editing QSO is funny. I tried to edit RST report. Forexample 57 to 56 on SSB, CQRLog show 5566 for new RST.
