DX cluster frequency question

When I click on a spotted station my K3 goes to the correct frequency and mode on every band except 80 and 160. On those two bands when I click on a spotted station on CW the K3 always goes to LSB and not CW. I can manually move the K3 to CW and everything is OK but it would be nice if I could have all bands working properly. I can't find anything in CQRLOG preferences that might resolve this and I'm pretty sure it's not the K3. I use DXspots.

Any suggestions?

Missing parts of cqrlog

Followed these instructions on the Download page;

Ubuntu 14.04, 16.04 and 16.10 users can use CQRLOG’s repository on Launchpad. To add repository to your system, put into terminal this:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ok2cqr/ppa;sudo apt-get update;sudo apt-get install cqrlog

However when I open it there is only a logbook and nothing else. I am running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Please advise.

Stability of USB port

Hi all,

I'm not sure that this is a CQR problem, but...

Very often, when I start CQR, the WK1EL keyer is not connected, or more exactly, the USB port is not always the one of the previous session.
So with a "ls /dev/tty*", I check the used ports, and I change it in the preference panel, and everything is working fine, but this is annoying.
Strangely, the link to the rig is stable. I had a problem once, but it was solved by a restart of Linux.

For info, I'm with Debian Jessie, and CQR 1.8.2.

Thanks in advance for any hint.

apparmor

I have been running CQRLOG with 100% success using Ubuntu ver 12.04 for almost a year. Suddenly, when I try to use it I get a quick flash of the logo (code key image) and immediately after the following window text :

@{HOME}/.config/cqrlog/database/**rwk,into/etc/apparmor.d/usr-sbin.mysqld/usr/share/cqrlog/cqrtest-apparmor-fix

I have tried entering this vis terminal application with no result.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Rigctld problem

Hi,

CQR log does nor want to connect to my TRX.
I checked in the process survey, and RIGCTLD is declared as "zombie".

I tried to restart PC an/or CQR but with no success. How could I restart RIGCTLD??
I tried also to change the USB port (with ls /dev/tty* we can see which USB is in use) , but also this failed.

Any idea??
Thanks.

Connecting rig via Bluetooth module

Hi,

I've purchased a bluetooth module for my FT-857D.
I've managed to create a bluetooth serial port.
Then I've binded rfcomm with ttyS99.
When I run CQRLOG bluetooth module gets connected to Linux (mint sarah).
So that's a sign that the module is working OK.
But it doesn't seem to get data from the rig (frequency) nor cannot control the rig (change freq after selecting one from the dx cluster window).

Winkeyer USB use

Hi all,

CQR log is working, and I have link with WK, but I don't know how to set the speed. When I turn the potentiometer, nothing is changed.
I'm sure that WK is linked to CQR because the keys (CQ for instance) are working.
I like to know the spped I use, and I would like to get it in the status bar, but only the default is written, and this default is not transmitted to WK.

Thanks for help.
I've looked in the forum, but did not find the answer.
