Hi,
As we have different types of sent QSLs: eQSL, Bureau, Direct and so on
there are no options for received QSLs.
It would be handy to have them distinguished as two types: electronic and paper (bureau).
Thnx
Thomas

Aloha,
Maybe I have something setup wrong. When I enter a log from WSJT-X JT-65 using the "LOG QSO button, it inserts the word JT65 in the RSTsent box. RST received is ok and in the Name box (example) "JT65 Sent: -03 Rcvd: -12" is inserted. Grid is correct. Power box has the actual sent report. Everything else seems ok. I don't know how to drop in a copy of the screen here. I could email. A push in the right direction?

Hello all,
I'm not very good at Linux, and I have a few questions:
When I whish to install with SYNAPTIC, the available version is 1.8.2.1.1. If I want to update repository list, it says that the repository is unavailable.
How can I install latest version?
I tried to install the .deb with DPKG, but a lot of dependencies are required. Do I have to install them "by hand" ??
For info I'm with Debian JESSIE.
Thanks.
Gerard
I have an old Dell desktop 32 bit machine up and running good with my TS590SG.
I Bought a new 64 bit machine that runs on 12 volts for my Mobile/Portable station. Installed Ubuntu16.04lts 64 bit. Ran "sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ok2cqr/ppa; sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install cqrlog" The "about" says its Ver. 2.0.2 (001) 2016-08-
Went into the TRX CONTROL setup, No listing for 237 Kenwood TS-590SG in the radio list. Path to the rigctld binary is /usr/bin/rigctld
Ran this:
I would like to propose something to the community. For those who have managed to be installed in the Raspberry Pi CQLog an image of the disk.
I've tried both Ubuntu Mate and Raspbian and I always get the same error time that I can not solve.
I've been using CQRLOG for a while now but have one thing that I can't figure out. When I was using DX4Win on windoze, I could list all the DXCC entities that I HAVE and also HAVE NOT yet worked. I only need a few more countries confirmed to be on Top of the Honor Roll (#1 Honor Roll) for DXCC credit.
It was just a menu pick in DX4Win to list the countries not worked yet. In CQRLOG, I can list all the countries I have worked and also confirmed, but not the ones I haven't got yet. Is there a way to list these either active or deleted countries?
Thanks,
Bob, WG9L
I upgraded to Linux Mint 18 and now I get "Error during connection to database: TMySQL55Connection can not work with the installed MySQL client version: Expected (5.5), got (5.7.13)."
Petr, how long is idle time with telnet session? I have filtered now these annoying "tnx qso" etc. from dx-spider. Now traffic is very much slower :) I have noticed, very early morning, when there is no much spots, I get disconnected or timeouted from cluster. It can be something else too, but start from here.
I recently got a IC7300 and I'm trying to transfer the actual frequency into a QSO log. The 7300 serial port is recognized as /dev/ic7300 (via udev), the Preferences->TRX Control is setup like this:
Rig model: any newer ICOM radios, I tried several
Device : /dev/ic7300
Poll rate: 500
Port 4532
start rigctld at startup
anything else: default
Nothing happens. The debug output in terminal looks like this:
When I use the ~ key to upload a spot to DX cluster, it does not show up in the DX cluster window. I am using VE7CC.
Hello,
New install of CQRLOG 2.0.1 into Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit from the PPA.
Here's the scenario. I start the program. Everything loads fine, including transceiver control. I go to Windows -> TRX control. The TRX control window loads. It also works. I close the TRX control window. CQRLOG's ability to talk to the radio ceases, because rigctld is no longer running.
To restore it, I go to File -> Refresh TRX/ROT control. This restores rigctld and all is well.
I do use "Run rigctld when program starts", if that is relevant.

Hi Petr, thanks for the update, however still no CW type window.
Mint 18, CQRlog 2.0.2 (001)
**** DEBUG LEVEL 1 ****
Hello,
I installed CQRLOG 2.0.1 fresh into Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit last night from the Launchpad PPA. I noticed that sometimes when I try to open the Preferences, it doesn't seem to do anything. When I try a second time, usually it opens, but occasionally the open CQRLOG windows fade grey -- Unity's way of telling me they've met an untimely end. I've been running the program with --debug=1 in the terminal and nothing appears when this happens. In fact, the debugging logging just stops.
Hi,
I have all my logs in ADI format backup. I reinstalled my linux Xubuntu 16.04 and when I want to restore database from ADI file, CQRlog see only first 34 records from file. I split the file, but the rest of record can't be restored. Any help or idea, please? CQRlog is last version.
Thanks,

Following on from the successful addition of Reverse Beacon Monitoring etc. I'd like to see the addition an ON4KST chat window. ON4KST uses Telnet protocol to ON4KST's own cluster. This is a very popular chat service with a discussion board for all interests. Very popular with VHF operators and LF operators alike.
Petr, just thought I would let you know, the CW type window does not open, 2.0.1 (001) Mint 18 XFCE TU K8WDX
I see where this is an issue with Ubuntu 16.4, however, it may be an issue also with Raspbian (debian) 'Jessie'.
(Note: I've had no problem running CQRLOG 2.0.1 (001) in Linux Mint 17.2.)

After installing CQRLOG 1.8.2 from the default repository on my raspberry pi 2B (Raspbian 'Jessie'), I started the program and got a 'Cannot connect to server' error when trying to create a new log. From reading the posts on this forum, I found out that the 'libmysqlclient-dev' package needed to be installed. I did that, and I still got the 'Cannot connect to server' error.
i cannot connect to any telnet dx clusters with cqrlog, running linux mint 17. Nothing happens when i click connect.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or not or if it's something I'm not doing correctly, but Mode is ticked in Visible columns in Preferences but not showing above new QSO window. All the other columns appear, but not the Mode one. I have tried reinstalling the program and DB without any luck.
Any ideas please?
Here is a screenshot of what I mean:
Hello Guys.
It's my first post here so I'd like to say "hi" to all of you and express my excitment regarding CQR Log software. I'm using it shortly as well as Linux OS in general so it gives me a lot of fun.
I purchased G4ZLP Dig Master Cw Keyer recently to work with CQR Log. And i stucked:) I'm not familiar with my OS (Lubuntu 14.04) so it is general help question reather then a bug report.
I'm planning to start using LoTW (haven't been using it before). Can someone please help me - how do I install TSQL in a correct way on my Xubuntu laptop (I guess it is done the same way as when using Ubuntu)?
Thanks a zillion in advance!

Anybody out there using the USB port with Linux on a IC7410 for rig control with CQRLOG. The operating manual says it requires a windows driver to operate. I'am using Cinnamon Linux mint 18 and the C-IV for control under CQRLOG v 2.0.1 and it is working fine on a serial port.

Have managed to get CQRLOG running on Mint and imported my logbook from Ham Radio Deluxe. Log book dates back to 2007, but CQRLOG only shows dates back to 2015.
1. how do I delete several thousand qso entries
2. How do I import the AIDF file so the qso dates and times are correct
thanks
