Finally have rig control. All it took was to sign in the dialout group.
Thanks all, Harold KD5BM
Hi Den, feel free to use my interface as you wish, absolutely no problem! It was initially intended for use with YPlog, however the keying circuit can be quite easily used for psedoFSK for RTTY with fldigi. I operate now CW only but if I wanted once to return to RTTY I would use an Arduino module for FSK in the style of TinyFSK (I hate AFSK). Anyway, there will be probably need of a modification in the fldigi sources. You can use this as a permission if you want.

Failure to run, solved, Installed Lubuntu as OS.
Now, If I can get CQRLOG to control my TS 590?
This problem I have is a bit hard to explain, but the thing is I write most of my qsl cards by hand and use CQRLOG as logfile, and to keep my administration about who I sent a card to already.
I want to send everyone a card if I did not send a card for that band-mode before. That's why I would like to see all the qso's from the callsign that does not have a card sent status.
To help me with this I created this qso query, and that does what I want:
Hello everyone, I just installed Lubuntu 14.04lts carefree on an old PC. Installing CQRLOG was uneventful, however when I type a letter or number is displayed it in double letter on the screen (eg FF11MMXXEE) Very curious! I said that the other programs are operating normally. An idea? 73 Didier F1MXE JN05GQ

I am using two different rigs with my cqrlog. One stationary and one QRP tranceiver. Only my stationary is connected to CqrLogs's Rig Control.
When I use my QRP tranceiver with CqrLog, I use to swith off my stationary tranceiver.
"AUTO" is unmarked, and Mode is possible to update manually.
The frequency is not possible to update. It is always falling back to my latest used frequency on my stationary rig.
Hi,
is there a chance of doing in the statistics Deleted DXCC position.
I currently have a DXCC 300 QSOs. But CQRLOG shows that I have a 301 and it is correct, because among them there is one entity that has been deleted from the DXCC list.
Can you do that the statistics were presented as follows: 300/301? (for example, in my case)

i have 12.04 Precise, and also CQRLOG ver 1.7.4.
I tried to use sudo add-apt-repository to get latest version and it fails.
About 5 or 6 error lines all relating to ppy file issues under: /usr/lib/python2.7
Some files mentioned included: ppa.py, tempfile.py, random.py.
I checked under Synaptic Package Manager and I have python2.7, but certainly not all the files that were listed there. I assume the ones I have are for basic python management.
Perhaps this is incomplete or outdated for the new version of CQRLOG?
Any guidance appreciated.

I'm trying to build cqrlog on an arm system; (pi-like, it's an odroid); I've got fpc and lazarus, but, building from within lazarus I'll do a build or compile and it'll run for a bit then toss a warning about lcl, and then hang:
-Fu/usr/local/share/lazarus/packager/registration/
-FU/home/me/.lazarus/lib/units/arm-linux
fcllaz.pas
If I do a "make" from a shell:
9009) Assembling tatransformations
/usr/local/share/lazarus/components/tachart/tachartaxis.pas(588,64) Hint: (5057) Local variable "rng" does not seem to be initialized
Recently I've been using cqrlog on several systems; one right next to the system hosting the mysqlDB, and a couple others that are far remote and accessing over an ssh tunnel.
I've noticed that if I have the cluster active, very frequently I'll recieve the mysqlDB error message where the remote is unreachable (though, it still is, as there is a local mysql monotor window running over the same path..).
Is anyone using cwdaemon with a keyboard? It's been a month since I first reported this problem so maybe nobody else shares it.
I just upgraded to 1.9.0 and find that after entering a new QSO both the QSO list and the new-QSO pane are darkened. What does this mean?
EDIT: This morning the darkened screens appeared only after I opened, and then closed with no changes, "Settings" in Preferences/Membership.
Trying CQRLog in the CWOps Mini-test this morning, I worked member stations whose info was not appearing in "Awards," as I'd specified. I just opened the CWOps membership list and found membership numbers up to 1444, probably current, but experimenting with my "New QSO" pane showed numbers only as high as 1253 being picked up.
I'm new to CQRLog. Do I need to do something (besides "Load," which shows 977 records; there are some gaps in the membership numbers) to pick up the newer members?
The latest version appeared to install fine via Ubuntu Software Centre.
Launching the program I get a main window with no drop-down menus or graphics. A second window allows a log to be opened. Openning log 001 & adding a callsign does not list the log entry. Entering the same callsign again offers no duplicate error.
I can't see anywhere to enter my station details or get help. I don't think this has installed properly.
Help!
Hi :)
I'm a new user and still working out all options, but would it be possible to have a dedicated entry for SOTA and WWFF references? At the moment I am using the Award field (for WWFF) and making a note in the QSO comment field (for SOTA) as sometimes an activator will be doing a SOTA in a WWFF park so it would be nice to have the dedicated sections to put in the details. Many thanks for such an awesome logger program for Linux!

ClubLog update has never worked for me, I always end up getting:
ClubLog: Uploading VK3MO
ClubLog: Upload failed! Check Internet connection
however it is not an internet connection problem, since HamQTH uploads work fine (mostly) and with --debug=1 I am seeing all the data being spit out correctly, it seems, but getting back a:

Response :

SyncUpdate:

I recently changed my call sign using the vanity call sign system with the FCC. Is there a way to change my username for the forum login? Also, Is there anything special I need to do to ensure my CQRLOG and hamqth log correctly identify my previous call sign for QSOs so my contacts don't lose their QSO information?
this is odd the default on qsstv tx is 0.0 and evean though i didnt have xmlrpc interface enabled if cqrlog is running every received pic ends up in the log as a contacts this has made a mess of the log as well as added lots of dupes i have changed the tx delay to 2.5 sec to see if that will corect the problem but again the enable is unchecked in qsstv it is enabled in cqrlog as i use fldigi...

CQRLOG comes with an icon of only 32×32 pixels.
Here is suggested high-resolution icon of 400×400 pixels, in line with the existing logo.

You are free to use it with CQRLOG.
Hi,
I am running CQRLOG 1.9.0 on Xubuntu LTS 14.04.
Recently, in XFCE Settings I changed my preferred browser to something different than Firefox. All programs that call a browser are obeying nicely except for CQRLOG.
When I run CQRLOG from a terminal emulator with the --debug=1 argument and click on the QRZ.com info button, I see a line indicating that CQRLOG is hardwired to calling Firefox:
Command line: firefox http://www.qrz.com/db/ON4AA

Hey guys,
I have problem with QSL label printing. Glabels shows that label setup is OK. But "print preview" shows that everything
is mess. "Time" is now callsign, "Band" is time etc. Where I shall start to look what is problem? WPX 2015 SSB have just pass and I have a lot of work with QSL-cards. Yeah, I know eQSL and so on, I am just a little bit conservative, hi! GLabels is version 3.2.1, CQRLog 1.9.1, Ubuntu Mate 14.04 distro. 73 de Timo OH7JHA
I had some issues with the adi-Import.I took the adif-export from wintest and wanted to import it into my cqrlog-database.
Whenever the cqrlog-import hits a call, where its dxcc-resolution fails (ru6k ua7k la/pf1bre/mm as examples) import fails with following error message in the debug-console:
"Import failed! : Error executing query: Incorrect integer value: '' for column 'itu' at row 1"
Until I delete all of the problematic qsos out of my adi, the complete log wont import.
I made a new isnallation of Ver 1.9.0 on a second computer. I imported the ADIF-Export from the first computer which runs Ver. 1.7.4. Everything looks good. But not the number of DXCC.
In the window "Show qso list" is in the top row the correct number of qso and wkd DXCC. But the number of cfm DXCC shows the number of paper qsl only. It's missing the additional number of LoTW qso. When I open the window for dxcc statistics there is the correct number of cfm dxcc.
Im confused. What is wrong? Did I forget anything in configuration?

I'm just getting started with CQRLog, considering a migration from Xlog. I'm impressed, but am having trouble with keyboard CW using cwdaemon. (It's just fooling around; I don't really use keyboard CW on the air. Yet.) The problem is that "word mode" uses the space bar as a signal to begin sending the next word, and if the previous word has not completed yet the two words are mingled. All I can see to do is to type WordA, hit the space bar, type WordB while A is being sent, but NOT hit the space bar until WordA and a reasonable space have completed.
