but I don't see anything useful on my ubuntu box, there were a coupl failures first time through but I can't seem to recall what I learned before I had to return my asus 1015E-ds03 for service which needed a factory reset, hence repositorry info gone, dependencies gone, memory gone.

Im trying to transfer over to Linux and your software is highly recommended, however Ive a couple issues.
Ive to 10,000+ contacts and Ive imported them fine from DXKeeper. I then did a download from EQSL/LOTW however if I do
an upload and select only those not on LOTW/EQSL it tries to send the whole log ?
Also I decided to bite the bullet and just upload them but the progam hangs on the Signing log on LOTW.
What did I miss. Does not CQRLOG sync with LOTW/EQSL like DXKeeper?
Hello,
I've updated from version 1.55 to 1.61.
Now "export for label printing" ist not working correctly. The created list is completly different to the version 1.55. Also there are fields exported, which I havn't seleted and other fields are missing.
Here a screensahot of the selected fields:
Earlier this month, the ARRL released a new version of the TQSL program which combines TQSL and TQSLCert into one program and makes some other changes. See http://www.arrl.org/news/view/tqsl-2-0-software-released-for-logbook-of-... for more information. The bad news is that no compiled version is currently availabe; see http://www.arrl.org/tqsl-download. The ARRL's statement on that issue is:
I'd like to see CQRLOG support the following ADIF fields: PROGRAMID, and PROGRAMVERSION field. Once supported and log files populated we may see CQRLog climb up logging prtogram leader boards like the one at Clublog: http://www.clublog.org/software.php Clublog uses these fields to determine which logging program is uploading ADIF files. I know Linux is still a minority OS but I don't believe it only has 0.08% market share! Supporting and populating these fields may see some more representative stats here.
When I enter a call for a previously worked stattion, CQRLog automatically fills in the new QSO fields from that QSO entry. If callbook lookup shows a new (accurate) address for this callsign, is there a way to automatically overwrite these fields with this new address for this upcoming QSO?
Thank you!

I have just downloaded Winkeyer Server 0.3 and I must say its great. Having tried many times to get cwdaemon to work and failed, Winkeyer server is perfect. I have one small buglet to report.
Is it possible to disable or remove xplanet? The reason I want to do this is because it depends on libungif, which isn't available in Arch or the AUR.
I have just installed a new log in CQRLOG and want to import the QSOs from another log. I have followed the instructions and imported an ADIF file of my 3594 QSOs. The now appear in my QSO list on CQRLOG but not in my main window, which shoes 0 entries. How do I populate my log with the QSO list's entries? I have tried and hunted but am at a loss.
I think the issue is that when I open up my log I go straight into the new qso window, which shows qso nr 0. What I should rather be doing is going into the QSL List screen and working from there. Is that right?
Sorting out my DXCC status against my log book I found
that a qso confirmed and arrl accredited that I had with
FB8XX in the early 1970's kept coming up as comoros. I tried to
manually alter and this error message appeared.
May I ask where to start looking?
FB8XX = Kerguelen
Error reading pgValid.Caption: Unknown property: "Caption".

Hi,
Installed CQRLOG using Ubuntu 13.04. Added the lines
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ok2cqr/ppa
sudo apt-get update
and 1.6.0 was installed successfully.
Upgraded to Ubuntu 13.10.
When running the software updater, CQRLOG is still on 1.6.0.
What could be wrong?

Theese are no recent versions. Is it nessesary to use them exactly?
Any problems with newer compilers?

Hi,I have seen a modification when I change the band - Window BANDMAP reacts slowly.
When this window is active (highlighted), then a change in the band does not work.
Everything else perfect, tnx for continuous improvement.

Whenever I try to import an ADIF file into CQRLOG, I get the error message in the Subject field above. I have tried several times with different files, getting the same result. My location in Preferences is Lake Jackson, Texas. I tried changing it to LAKE J with no change in outcome. Suggestions appreciated.
can you download your log from arrl on cqrlog
What version of Linux are you using? 32 bit or 64 bit?
Hi,
Due to a hard drive crash Im trying to get cqrlog working on my lappy.
I cannot get the rig control to work, using exactly the same settings.
I have checked dmesg and lsusb and the adaptor is loaded ok.
I chmod'd the port to 666 and added myself to dialout group, still no joy.
Below is the debug info.
When I try and start CQRLOG it goes okay until I try and import an ADIF file. I get the selection window and then about 10 seconds later I get a window pop up with a message "Access violation Press OK to risk data corruption or press CANCEL to kill the program" clicking on either choice gets no response and the program becomes non-responsive even to the point of not responding to clicking on the close icon on the window or the close option on the File Menu. After some time (about a minute or so) the program finally closes.
Hello. Today installed cqrlog (1.6.0) on my new machine.
Ubuntu 12.0.4.3 64-Bit.
After that i have trouble with autobackup.
There is allways the Message "File not found" then I quit the Program.
The path is is correct. My rights are correct to. I can create a file in that folder with the same user I run cqrlog is running.
And with my old machine (Ubuntu 12.0.4.3 32-Bit) it works.
Is there a Bug in the 64-Bit Version ?

If you right click on a call in the main QSO list and choose "look up call on QRZ" you are directed to the correct location: http://www.qrz.com/db/CALL
However if you right click on a call in the recent QSOs list of New QSO window you are taken to a 404 page: http://www.qrz.com/callsign/CALL
Debian 7.0.2, installed with 1.6.0-1 amd64 deb.
cqrlog is an excellent product, thank you!

Hi all
Now I am happy to announce, that got rigctl working after looooong :)))
trying.
For those, who are strugling with same, I didn't maybe unerstand earlier,
in rigctl settings, you set baudrate 4800 and handske none. All others default. Then you set into extracommands line rigctl -r /dev/ttyUSBx -m 202 -C serial_handshake=None, where x is port number, also can be /dev/ttySx.
Now making Lotto, my lucky day :D
