Hello everyone on the forum. Kevin, KK4LSG, here. I am a new Linux user and new to ham radio so please be kind. I am enjoying CQRLOG, but I have run into a rather minor, but annoying issue. My computer clock is accurate and currently on EDT time. The logging QSO time listed on the QSO input page follows the computer clock time just fine. So does the sunrise and sunset times for local, and as far as I can tell, the QSO's local time. The problem is the local time listed in the DXCC box. It is one hour off.

I've encountered 2 problems using cqrlog on Ubuntu 13.04 after upgrade to 1.6.0.
1. Every now and then I'm prompted to import new QSL manager database and DXCC table, but importing them takes ages (ca. 25min) and during that time there's a massive disk usage.
2. I see 2x cqrlog icon in Unity launcher when I open a database.
Did anyone see this, too?

Now using version 1.6.0. Otherwise working suberb, BUT... when leaving Cqrlog untouched for some hours, I click from cluster window some call, I get message Lost connection to Mysql server etc. This problem comes every time, example I have cqrl
on over night and in the morning I try to do that, I get error message.
Have to restart cqrl again. Anyone else...?

Firstly thank you Martin for your kind help in resolving the qsl manager which works fine now on my version 0.9.6
I have been trying to resolve dxcc errors between my different log books that occurred after a recent dxcc table update.
Having spent some time looking into the problem it appears to be
connected with the recent or latest cqrlog-cty.tar.gz.
On trying to import the dxcc table from ctyfiles an error is displayed “Arithmetic overflow or division by zero has occurred
Error Code: 1. “
I kKNEW Id worked Galapagos on 17.
But when I do a search or galapagas all it brings up is a QSO with Ireland!
I have checked the DXCC reference, set to Eireland, call is EI5CL**.
Clublog finds the call, HD8A OK, but whatever I do CQRLOG does not associate it with Galapagos although Galapagos is listed as the DXCC on the HD8 QSO.
All i can get it to bring up is this QSO with Ireland.
I have re-built the tables in utils, still the same.
Hi again.
I have been plagued with bad internet network connections.
If I use the bandmap or cluster to tune and the network goes down at the same time, the whole program hangs until the network is restored and it receives packets. Normally takes a few seconds to a minute.
(The screen fades to grey and pauses for a while and is unresponsive)
I normally switch the cluster off at this point until later on which obviuously fixes it but would be good if it didn't hang.

Hello,
i just want to dwnload qsl info from eqsl.cc and this is the result:
Size: 19087
eQSL page was probably changed, cannot find the link to ADIF file
the upload looks good, so i know that my login data for eqsl.cc are all right.
please, what can i do to fix it?

The bandmap keeps coming up with an 8 font when the setting indicates a 12 font. I save the preferences again and it changes back to 12 until the next time cqrlog is started up.
Also error messages appear about lost Mysql when a spot frequency is clicked. The OK button seems to take care of it but this was never seen before 1.6.0.
All other features of the program that I use are ok.
Thanks for the great program. CQRLOG allowed me to install Ubuntu 12.04LTS and overwrite my whole windows partition. Linux only now.

I have successfully installed the tqsl package - v 1.14.3
My problem is that the installation directory is /usr/local/bin and cqrlog asks for /usr/bin
Is there somewhere I can change the path within cqrlog?

I use cqrlog with Ubuntu 13.04, it worked fine until last update to 1.6.0. Now I get a message "Error during connection to database: Server connect failed." I no longer see any of my databases. What can be wrong?

Band Map not save the font size setting, always starts with 10
Apologises if this has previously been reported.
Problem importing qslmgr which I have modified to
import/install. Although I do have the more recent
version running on another machine I tend to use
ver: 0.9.6 on my station linux box. Must admit have
not tested the database on the later versions.
Hello,
I wanted to release new version today but there is a problem with bug in new Freepascal compiler used in Ubuntu 13.10, Arch Linux, Gentoo, Debian unstable etc. This bug is critical and CQRLOG won't run. Problem is in CQRLOG's bandmap function that uses something new FPC compiler doesn't like. Development of new band map will take some time. I suppose new version will be released next Sunday. I'm sorry.

I'm using Ubuntu 12:04 (Precise Pangolin) 64 bit. I've installed CQRLog, but cannot upload files to either LOTW or eQSL.cc. I get the following error messages:
LOTW: NOT logged
Error: 0
Error: ssl_openssl
eQSL: Size:
NOT logged
Error: 0
Error: Host not found

Hello,
is it possible to include a Auto-CQ with variable time? And as soon as the OP starts typing a call sign the Auto-CQ Mode stops?

Hello all,
with Strg+T I can tune, this works fine. But when I klick 'abord' nothing happens. I have to restart cwdaemon manually to stop TX. Am I the only one? Is it a cwdaemon-problem or a bug in cqrlog?

Can you add JT9 to the list of modes?
Its already in the ADI format i beleive.
I have been off the air for a while. Recent cqrlog version I used was 1.x.x, but I do not remember which exactly. Now I installed the new version and get messages about invalid table structure. So I tried to get the older version, but downloads below 1.3.x are not available. 1.3 cannot access by db either.
Does it mean that if you do not keep your cqrlog up to date for a year or so, you loose access to your data and that's it? Or can I access my logs somehow, like getting the older version?
Hi all,
Petr, is it possible to add option satellite in CQRlog ?
Now, at NRA headquarters, we have made some satellite qso's and CQRlog has not a satellite option.
Best 73, best regards to your lovely family and till next time.
