Can you add JT9 to the list of modes?
Its already in the ADI format i beleive.
I have been off the air for a while. Recent cqrlog version I used was 1.x.x, but I do not remember which exactly. Now I installed the new version and get messages about invalid table structure. So I tried to get the older version, but downloads below 1.3.x are not available. 1.3 cannot access by db either.
Does it mean that if you do not keep your cqrlog up to date for a year or so, you loose access to your data and that's it? Or can I access my logs somehow, like getting the older version?
Hi all,
Petr, is it possible to add option satellite in CQRlog ?
Now, at NRA headquarters, we have made some satellite qso's and CQRlog has not a satellite option.
Best 73, best regards to your lovely family and till next time.

Hi Petr, would it be possible to add the ability to change the distance from km, to miles? maybe an option to switch, like a box to check to use miles instead of km. thanks Tom K8WDX
Hi Peter!
I've started using CQRLOG and imported a log from another windows log program.
I'd like to filter my QSO's by TX PWR, so I can set the profile on those QSO to QRP, or export the list to an ADIF file for printing only QRP QSL's
Is it possible ?

I imported my log in ADIF format from DXLab's Commander program in Windows XP to CQRLog. Now CQRLog shows MANY differences in the number of stations worked and confirmed compared to the totals I had in DXLab. Also my countries worked total is incorrect. My log in DXLab matches the DXCC records that the ARRL has on file so I know it is correct. What version of ADIF file does CQRLog support? I have over 5200 QSOs in my log dating back to 1982.
Hi.
I've managed to get CQRLOG to run on Puppy Precise 5.4.3 but only saving to MYSQL server, not to local file
Here are the steps:
1. From the puppy package manager install the following from the Ubuntu repositories:
-> libhamlib-utils
-> libmysqlclient
2. Download the XAMPP sfs from http://xampp-puppy.googlecode.com/files/xampp-linux-1.8.1-20130107.sfs into your /mnt/home folder
I recently worked M/LA2BSA
CQRLOG is marking this as Norway (which is the home call) instead of England.
A bit of checking shows that it gets it right for G/LA2BSA so it looks like it's not recognising 'M/' as a CEPT prefix. It does get it right for MM/ (Scotland) and MW/ (Wales).
Note: the correct CEPT prefix for England is M/ *not* G/

Hello, how azimuth shows you CQRlog for DU3/N0QM station?
Shows me nothing but the rotor rotates up to 315 degrees - when i press short path.
For the last few days I am getting the following message every time I start the program even though I select to install every time.
New DXCC tables are available. Do you want to download and install it?
Are there so many changes to the table or is there something wrong with my installation.
If there is something wrong is there a way to fix it?
Thanks
Ray

Hi, Every time I start the program, I have to re-click 'always on top' of every window even though it was all set up when closed last time.
Can you save th window 'always on top' value of all the various windows i have open when closing so i dont have to do this every time i start?
Hello,
first of all many thanks for CQRLOG which is an excellent logging program. After having installed the 1.58 version as soon as I launch it I get this warning:
"It looks like apparmor is running in your system. CQRLOG needs to add this :
@{HOME}/.config/cqrlog/database/** rwk,
into /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld
You can do that by running /usr/share/cqrlog/cqrlog-apparmor-fix or you can add the line and restart apparmor manually.
Click OK to continue (program may not work correctly) or Cancel and modify the file first"
Hi
It would be nice to be able to work with wsjtx/wsjt in remote mode like as with fldigi

Hi the software es great, I have been using until today.
Now when I start the app, the following message is shown, "List index(4) out of bounds. Press OK for ignore and risk data corruption. Press Cancel to kill the program" . I have done click on cancel, but the app hungs up. After a few attemps I did click on OK. Nothing happens. Finally I did click on File -> Open or create new log and in the Utils button I did click on Repair log database. The following message was shown: "Done, tables fixes".
The v. 1.5.8 is much better than previous ones but there is still an issue in the band map - when the record contains a comment, band map does not work anymore, it is impossible to put the call into log and tune the radio on the frq by simple click.
I know the development of the contesting log has started, but would it not be easier to make a contest mode for CQRlog?, When I participate in a contest, I have a second log set up called contest, and I log that way, then merge the log into my daily log, and save the file for future use, like putting into fldigi and converting it to the format that it needs to be for uploading etc, what I am saying is why reinvent the wheel, when you can just tweak it a bit. I dont know if this is a good idea or not.

Hi, EXcellent software, use it all the time BUT I have a problem in that if I leave my PC for any length of time unattended over about half an hour, when I get back the program has locked up, I cannot switch it off and I have a message telling me my 'MYSQL server has gone away'.
I normally have to switch the computer off at this point to re-start CQRLOG.
My internet access is often on and off but this shouldnt affect local SQL server.
I'm at my wits end and about to go back to a lesser program, but one I can rely on to not crash every now and again
hI Peter I have had no luck with geting cat control to work.
the following is from a clean install of Ubuntu 12.04 and CQRLOG
jonathan@jonathan-***:~$ CQRLOG
CQRLOG: command not found
jonathan@jonathan-****:~$ cqrlog

I recently came across a windoze (runs ok in WINE) utility from WD5EAE that logs into your eQSL account and downloads al your received QSL images from both your inbox and your archive.
This set me thinking, that this would be a brilliant addition to the CQRLog download eQSL feature. If CQRLog as part of the eQSL Download could create a folder on the CALL_DATA folder for each QSL received and name the downloaded image qsl_call_front.jpg that would take away the pain from many people who have far more QSO's in eQSL that I do and be a unique feature for eQSL.
