Whenever I try to import an ADIF file into CQRLOG, I get the error message in the Subject field above. I have tried several times with different files, getting the same result. My location in Preferences is Lake Jackson, Texas. I tried changing it to LAKE J with no change in outcome. Suggestions appreciated.

can you download your log from arrl on cqrlog
What version of Linux are you using? 32 bit or 64 bit?
Hi,
Due to a hard drive crash Im trying to get cqrlog working on my lappy.
I cannot get the rig control to work, using exactly the same settings.
I have checked dmesg and lsusb and the adaptor is loaded ok.
I chmod'd the port to 666 and added myself to dialout group, still no joy.
Below is the debug info.
When I try and start CQRLOG it goes okay until I try and import an ADIF file. I get the selection window and then about 10 seconds later I get a window pop up with a message "Access violation Press OK to risk data corruption or press CANCEL to kill the program" clicking on either choice gets no response and the program becomes non-responsive even to the point of not responding to clicking on the close icon on the window or the close option on the File Menu. After some time (about a minute or so) the program finally closes.
Hello. Today installed cqrlog (1.6.0) on my new machine.
Ubuntu 12.0.4.3 64-Bit.
After that i have trouble with autobackup.
There is allways the Message "File not found" then I quit the Program.
The path is is correct. My rights are correct to. I can create a file in that folder with the same user I run cqrlog is running.
And with my old machine (Ubuntu 12.0.4.3 32-Bit) it works.
Is there a Bug in the 64-Bit Version ?

If you right click on a call in the main QSO list and choose "look up call on QRZ" you are directed to the correct location: http://www.qrz.com/db/CALL
However if you right click on a call in the recent QSOs list of New QSO window you are taken to a 404 page: http://www.qrz.com/callsign/CALL
Debian 7.0.2, installed with 1.6.0-1 amd64 deb.
cqrlog is an excellent product, thank you!

Hi all
Now I am happy to announce, that got rigctl working after looooong :)))
trying.
For those, who are strugling with same, I didn't maybe unerstand earlier,
in rigctl settings, you set baudrate 4800 and handske none. All others default. Then you set into extracommands line rigctl -r /dev/ttyUSBx -m 202 -C serial_handshake=None, where x is port number, also can be /dev/ttySx.
Now making Lotto, my lucky day :D

I'm a little bit confused because of Rotctld... I have no interface
to control my Ham4 rotator... Now when trying again take my Kenwood 440s in control by cqrlog I get this when I refresh rig/rotctl.
Settings:
-----------------------------------------------------
RigCtldPath:/usr/local/bin/rigctld
RigCtldArgs:-m 202 -r /dev/ttyUSB1 -t 4532 -s 4800
RunRigCtld: FALSE
RigDevice: /dev/ttyUSB1
RigCtldPort:4532
RigCtldHost:127.0.0.1
RigPoll: 1500
RigSendCWR: FALSE
RigId: 202
Hi
In my Fedora 19, Mysql is on its way to be changed into
Mariadb. In Mariadb wiki, says, that it is going to be "very"
much compatible with Mysql. But, allways that big BUT :)
As seen other distros also are shown their intrests to
change into Mariadb.
Now, Petr, are you aware of this?
Just pointing one possible so called mysterious Mysql "bug".

I have a WINKEYER (the serial RS232 version) and not the USB version. Has anyone successfully managed to get a WINKEYER Serial + USB adaptor working with CQRLOg. As far as I can tell both should work in the same way, but since migrating to Linux mine hasn't worked.
I'm currently running rigctrld as a daemon on startup. I have tested this from the terminal and it seems to be running ok but I don't seem to be able to find the right combination of setting in TRX control. I anyone has done this can point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful.
PS, probably not relevant but my rig is an FT2000D so using rid if 129.
------------
Panic over, I've figured out what my problem was, sorry for the bandwidth here.
When I run CQRLOG fro terminal I see the following errors:
I used CQRlog for the contest, worked great, I created a new log called contest, then set up the DX cluster teal for new blue for new band, started with (0) qso's, as I worked them the the cluster and the band map easily showed what I had worked and what was entirely new, double clicking and moving around the band could not have been any easier, dupes easily showed in the main window, because remember,, I created a new log, for export I will move the log over to fldigi, then export in the right format, then I will merge the contest log with my daily log.
Is it possible for hrd and cqrlog to both share the same mysql database and stay synced ,if not is it possible to change the values cqrlog uses to match hrd ?
Thanks Russ (M0BVL)
It would be VERY handy if there was a facility to upload to clublog either automatically or from the menu.
There is info about posting by http etc and an api available but would have to be incorporated into the software.
Clublog is great for stats and log backup.
Downloading QSL managers ... is not responding.
You may choose to wait a short while for it to continue or force the application to quit entirely.

Hi,
I have just installed v1.6 and it installed fine, but it took more than an hour to download the updates.
I also know of two others having the same trouble.
Yours sincerely

Hi, I don't know if thiis is a good place to ask this, but after running this I get error (I'm a very old newbie at ubuntu):
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ok2cqr/ppa
sudo apt-get update
in ubuntu 12.04 LTS on an asus1015e laptop
I never noticed this before with older versions, but I recently reinstalled Linux Mint 13 and CQRlog v1.6.0.
Occasionally, as expected, it asks me to download updated QSL manager info; but when it does so the download/update is VERY slow, taking several 10's of minutes.
I'm running on a very fast internet connection, so that isn't the issue.
Any ideas what I can do to speed this up? While the QSL manager info is downloading, CQRlog is unusable, of course.
Hi,
Where I can get recent version for Ubuntu 10.04? In repo I got 1.4.1...it's too old ;)

Does anyonehave an idea as to which rig hamlib id would be used with my FT-990 (Rom v1.3)? 73

Please consider including 630M in band/freq. selection. There are now several EU countries and others operating on 630M (472 - 479 kHz) now. I have many dozens of QSOs on the band (and hopefully many more in the coming months) as an experimental station in US and would love to import them to CQRlog!

My PC reports a 16% disk usage, ie plenty of space. At the same time cqrlog reports disk full eg when asking for lotw import.
Is this a known problem or something with my setup?
