Good evening,
I have a problem with a SQL-Query. I want to count the worked DXCC beginning from 2013-01-01 up to today. While I was using a former version od cqrlog I used the following:
SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT dxcc_ref) FROM cqrlog_main WHERE (qsodate >= '2013-01-01')
When I do it now while I'm using the version 1.5.4 I get an error
Unknown column 'dxcc_ref' in 'field list'
What's the problem?
Thanks for any help.

HamQTH is a very useful site, and I really like CQRLOG. I've got it making good looking QSL labels using gLabels designer.
CQRLOG has the ability to look up callsigns on HamQTH (or QRZ.com) abd it reports the addresses in the New QSL screen, and then promptly forgets them.
Currently it seems that only the QSO end time is being pulled from the FLdigi log, and that time is being used for both the start and end times in CQRlog. The start time is in FLdigi's log as well, and should be pulled from that log when the other information is. It's not as big a deal with short QSOs, but with a longer QSO it can mean the difference between LoTW QSLs working or not working.
There's a thread about this in the "open discussion" forum, but it really belongs here.
After building 1.5.4 for Fedora and doing a fresh install I get the following floating point exception:
I am using Open SUSE 11.3 on a Dell D600 laptop. The install went smoothly and I am now playing around with my preferences. I would like to set up the QTH Profile as I am in the process of migrating my old paper logs from 1977 and the QTH has changed.
I went to File>Preferences>QTH Profiles and checked "Use QTH Profiles"
I checked "QTH" and "Rig" but left "Locator" unchecked and then clicked on "Define/Modify Profiles"
I'm trying to connect my K3 to cqrlog.
When I let cqrlog start rigctld nothing happens and when I look at the running processes I find : rigctld Status : ZOMBIE
What should be done about it ??
What is a Zombie proces ?

Good Evening,
I want to brush off the dust and look at doing some special queries from the database. I am not used to setting up phpadmin or any other console with out a WEB server. So my question is, how do set it up and how do I get it to point to the database correctly? I am a semi newbie to Linux (I did my SQL stuff on NetWare a long time ago).

Using two monitors, I always have xplanet full-screen on my right monitor when CQRlog is running.
For some reason after say, half an hour, the globe (azimuthal) clearly has rotated.
Not a really big deal but a bit annoying for sure. What I mostly do is close xplanet and, from the window menu, reopen it.
That solves it for the next half hour or so.
Does any of you know how this happens and, even more important , how to straighten this out?

Hi
Again started trying to get my TS-440 working with cqrlog. Again NADA...???Strange thing, namely tried rigctl with JLOG and there it works, except no change mode, when taking station from cluster.
Ok, there it works, somehow, but not here. If I start rigctl from console.../usr/local/bin/rigctl -m 202 -r /dev/ttyUSB1 -t 4532 -s 4800
Rig command: f
get_freq: error = Command rejected by the rig
So, Hamlib? If I do command
During some database tests, I have erased it from file -> open or create new log -> utils -> clear log.
Now I have ADIF automatic backup file, but import didn't work because QTH profiles are blanked. I recreated the profiles, but qso are imported in a unique profile, even if all profiles data is stored adif file.
There is another way to restore my data without ADIF file splitting by hand?
Thank you
Stefano

Hi,
I recieve QSL in LoTW from this station on the screen shot (link below), but CQRLOG tells QSL needed - why?
CQRLOG accept confirmation only paper?
This is correct behavior?

I had noticed that periodically, I'd get static crashes that would hit, then go down in volumn, and repeat around every 8 seconds. I finally tracked it down to hamlib/rigctld. The crashes happen when I start cqrlog, which starts rigctld, or if I start fldigi. The crashes happen if I use hamlib or rigctld to control the radio.
This happens using 2 different machines, one running xubuntu 12.04 and one using opensuse 12.2.
My coax passes over (touching) the xubuntu machine and directly behnd the opensuse machine.
The KX3 is a great QRP transceiver; here's how I got mine operating under Ubuntu 12.04 with CQRLOG.
Hi,
I just re-installed my machine with openSUSE 12.3 and after the packages found on software.opensuse.org did not work properly (floating point error), I downloaded the binary archive.
When I installed it and started CQRlog, it showed version 1.5.3 instead of 1.5.4. Now given that I had already installed 1.5.4 from the other repository I had the MASTER.SCP file which is not present in the binary archive.

I run Arch Linux on my laptop and tried to load CQRLog onto it on the weekend. Got a message back saying that it isn't built for x86-64 architecture, so wouldn't install. Is this true? What can I do to install it, or isn't it possible?
Hi, I have accidentally selected QSL Received (CTRL + R) on a few QSOs and I can't see any way to remove that. I tried File > Edit details and removing the date listed in QSL received date and QSL sent date, but that didn't help. Also, selecting QSL Received again doesn't flip it off.
I'm using cqrlog_1.5.4_amd64 (though it says 1.5.3 in Help > About) on Fedora 16
Can I ask, for information, what the "Callbook support" does? I can't get it to do anything and since I am not sure what it should be doing, I am having trouble debugging and telling what I am missing (I have accounts at both QRZ.com and HamQTH.com). In particular, am I right that it shoud not look up the callsign until I enter the QSO? Is there some way to check the call without entering it?
Thanks,
Jim
I just installed a 64 bit version of CQRLog. How do I import the 32 bit backup file (from the other partition) into the 64 bit program? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Never Mind, I got it figured out. Consider this one closed.
I am using Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and CQRLOG. DEB package will not install because of following error: ERROR dependency is not satisfiable: LIBGDK-PIXBUF2.0.0 ( >= 2.22.0).
I have not been able to find this file to update. Can I use CQRLOG 1.5.4-1 with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS or will I have to upgrade to a newer OS?
Thanks,

I would like to interface my CW Contest Keyer with CQRLog. Either directly or by writing to the SQL DB directly. Do you have information on how I can do that?
I have received several user requests to interface with your program. Right now I use Xlog. My program is called eepkeyer.
It can be found here: http://www.hamsoftware.org/eepkeyer.html
Hi,
Today, I was trying to install CQRLOG on Kubuntu precise 12.04.01 AMD64 bit.
Somehow it alwas ends up with an error on my.cnf, which is from the scratch a 2 byte file.
I tried to chmod it to 666, but then, the error says something like ignoring globaly writable my.cnf.
I also tried "/usr/share/cqrlog/cqrlog-apparmor-fix" with no better result. Somehow, I'm lost to get CQRLOG running ....
Any hints ?

Here's the terminal screen output:
Hi,
in version 1.5.3, probably in 1.5.4 too, is problem described in the topic. When I do "sh/dx some_call" and this call was active 2 weeks ago, I have in the bandmap call, which is not actually on the band. When I do "sh/dx some_prefix", then "sh/dx some_other_prefix" and so on,... dx cluster returns some spots from history, and I have bandmap full of callsigns, which are not on the band yet, but were sometimes in the past.
