Hello in the round. First of all a Happy New Year and above all health.
I installed openSuSE 15.1 on a somewhat older Toshiba Satellite notebook with AMD A6 quad core.
That worked without any problems, but after starting CQRLog 2.4. (AMD64) there were problems.
Error message when starting: "Cann't load default MySQL library libmysqlclient.so.20 or libmysqlclient.so"
Unfortunately, openSuSE does not offer a package for these lib files.
Is there a solution to this problem?
Thank you in advance

I just installed cqrlog on a raspi 4b. I got the error that I should set up run as root. I fllowed the procedure as specified. I now get this error:
Cqrlog Ver:2.3.0 (001) Date:2018-06-17
**** DEBUG LEVEL 1 ****
SSL libraries:
I use (and love) CQRLOG.
I have my radio configured in TRX Control, and it works with TRX control if and only if I have rigctld set to start when CQRLOG starts. If it's not set to open when CQRLOG opens, rigctld never starts. If it's set to launch rigctld when CQRLOG starts, rigctld is launched.
Problem is, I do both phone and digi mode work. For digi modes, I need the digi program (fldigi, wsjt-x) to have rig control access, so I cannot have CQRLOG starting rigctld whenever it runs.
The bandmap is now filled with spots from the DX-cluster. I think it would be very cool to have the bandmap filled with RBN spots. It would be a great operating aid, like looking for a clear spot. Of course filtering aids would be very helpful, like the RBN monitor is using now.

When logging a contact focus is shifted to status of upload window for about 6 seconds before you can start typing a call. not very good when working the pileups.
Clublog upload is slow, when i import a file with x new log entries it takes a few seconds for each entry to be uploaded.

This is an occasional issue, but I've just seen it change an entry where I end up with a duplicate contact entry and one which should be there gets deleted.
Luckily I'm uploading to HamQTH automatically at the moment and thus the Status of log upload window is open and the following showed up...
HamQTH: Uploading W6DF ... OK
HamQTH: Done ...
HamQTH: Deleting original W6DF ... OK
HamQTH: Uploading updated AE3RM
HamQTH: Already exists
HamQTH: Done ...
The middle of last Dec., I found that my CQRlog did not export , or etc to adif.(Also Ubuntu 18.04.3)
I decide to install Ubuntu 18.04.3 into an another SSD.
On the new SSD, I installed CQRlog 2.4.0.1 deb.
Now in the QSOlist, I have lost "Comment to QSO" column.
And when I search by DXCC, I input e.x. 5B, the error occurred.
TMySQL57Connection: Error executing query: Unknown column 'dxcc_ref' in 'where clause'.
Is there an easy way to see things like:
How many DXCC did I work in 2019?
What were my WAS stats for 2019?
I was able to get some data I wanted from the Filter page, but can't figure out how to do the above. It seems like I might be able to get what I want if I could figure out what to type in the "Award" field...
Thanks!

in the configuration file (1cqrlog.cfg)
the password the QRZ.com is the CBPass
and the password for the HamQth.com is QRZPass
"remote mode for wsjt-x" doesn't work
box marked "run wsjtx after entering to remote mode for wsjt-x" entering the path manually does not work (does not start wsjtx)
the "Browse" button does not open any window to select the binary.
launching wsjtx manually works...
I don't know if it will be stable...

HamQth down?
Now, when taking new qso, I get in CallBook window
Tag "session_id" not found!
How to repair this?
I am running CQRLOG on Mint 19.3 64 bit (just upgraded but the problem started before upgrade when I was on 19.2) and over the last couple of weeks my DX cluster runs for a while and then stops. I can restart it and it works for a while but it then stops again. This happens with the cluster I have used for years DXSpots and I have also tried VE7CC with the same problem. I am using an old Dell Optiplex 380 desktop and a Panda Wireless PAU06 dongle. This all had worked just fine for a long time. I have also tied an older 802.11b/g dongle with the same problem.
Hi @all,
I just tried to install cqrlog on a rigpi from mfj. It didn't work.
The mysql error log file shows (last 20 lines):
Suppose I have cqrlog running and I want to quickly check my log for a callsign? I can of course enter it in the callsign field and any qso's will show up in the table above, but what about using the mysql command for this from the command line?
Can anyone give an example how to do this? Thanks!

Hello all....
Often new users to linux have problems to install CQRLog.
As i wanted to have a script myself to install both CQRlog and update HAMlib so all newer trancievers are there, i wrote one.
I use LinuxMint 19.2 with Cinamon ,
So for this distro/version I made 2 scripts, one with and one without the update of HAMlib 3.3. For this distribution only!!
It will also add the user to the dialout group which is one of the most common reasons that CAT control does not work.

Hi,
I'm using CQRLOG with Fedora (current version Fc30) and mysql-community-common-5.7.28-1.fc30.x86_64. Today CQRLOG crashed several times, so I started from the console to get an error message. This is what I received:
$ cqrlog
Cqrlog Ver:2.4.0 (001) Date:2019-10-27
**** DEBUG LEVEL 0 ****
**** CHANGE WITH --debug=1 PARAMETER ****
On a fresh Ubuntu 19.10 install, using the PPA I'm getting the following error when trying to open CQRLog.
I use Hamqth.com for my callbook support and it is not working. I tried to bring up the site and it doesn't come up. Anyone else have this happening?

I had a problem with my Raspberry Pi and had to set up the computer again on a new SD card. What do I need to copy from the old SD card to the new one to make CQRLOG be back the way it was?
I will be getting a new call and need to keep my current log .Can I just rename .adif with new call and change call in preferences. Thank you for any suggestions so I don't loose my current log and incorporate it with new callsign
HI !
I like to have some test reports about new alpha version.
I have made state addition to CQ monitor but it needs "pileup" to see how slow it may be when there are many US stations in the band at same time.
It can not be tested here at my location.
setup radio to work with cat control in cqrlog verified cable between ft990 and computer is ok. will not display band data when double click on cluster shows up in log but will no tune and no response to cw message
can anyone offer any help here to get this working ?

Petr I have also sent a screenshot of preferences window to your email.
I installed CQRLOG through POP_SHOP. I am a new user to POP!OS which is basically UBUNTU. The error appears to be related to mysql. The error suggests I post the last few lines of the debug file here. Please be nice I am new to Linux. I'm learning it as fast as I can . HA HA
Thoughts on how to resolve this??
