Hey! I was testing Ubuntu 10.04 Alpha 3 (kernel 2.6.32-15) and CQRLOG 0.9.1. Everything seems to be ok but "Preferenses" crash the CQRLOG. I opened CQRLOG via Console and tried to open "Preferenses". I got text:

Hello,
I am using version 0.9.1 and have found a problem with ADIF import.
I was importing some logs from another program and found that the 'QSLRDATE' field is not being imported. As far as I can tell all of the other fields are being imported correctly.
I did a test export and all fields, including "QSLRDATE" are being exported correctly.
Something I have noticed on the past few versions is that when I use the key to attempt to highlight all RST digits, just the 'S' digit is highlighted as if I used the cursor keys. Is this only on my install or has anyone else noticed this?
Also - When moving to the Name field, the program used to highlight the whole name. So when QRZ pre-fills in the name, people like "Robert" who go by "Bob" are easier to change the name. Now the cursor is placed before the first character. I am not sure if these two, minor, issues are related.
73 and thanks...

I notice that when exporting QSOs to an lotw adif file that the frequency field is missing. I have checked Freq. in the export tab.
I can see this clearly by using the edit feature in the TrustedQSL application. I am running ver 0.9.1 of CQRLOG under Ubuntu 9.04. The same thing happens when the file is uploaded to the LOTW website.

Hello Petr,
I read today that there is an award for working stations in IARU region 2. Is there an easy way to filter statistics on IARU?
Thanks & 73,

Howdy
I can't get CQRLOG to remember its last used screen position. When I restart the program
it centers itself. I can't remember if previous versions did this or not... Is this
by design, or am I having a problem...

I have CQRLog installed and running. I think I did it correctly but am confused by the options on the download page. I downloaded the bin.tar.gz file to the desktop and extracted into the home folder. So I open the .bin file in there and open the cqrlog file to run the program. Is this the correct method? I'm just a little confused because I also see the install.tar.gz file on the download page as well as the source.tar.gz file. What are these files? Are they other ways of installing the program? Just curious if I'm doing this right as the whole linux OS is new to me. Thanks.
After switching from Fedora Core 12 64-bit to Ubuntu 9.1 I'm finally able to load up the CQRLog. For some reason could never get it to open on the Fedora (probably my fault as I'm quite new to linux). Now that I can open it I'm pretty much confused on how to set up the rig control.
HI
1/
is it possible to add an option to mark all qso Log for flag LOTW_qsl_s.
before i'm using cqrlog ,i have already upload my log to lotw website.
I don't want to upload all my qso again .

Hello,
Has anyone built CQRLOG for LinuxPPC?
I suppose in theory it should work but I thought I'd ask first before I commit myself :-)

I've been thinking of participating in the SKCC anniversary as a K3Y op and the log submission is required in ADIF. After having hacked up a nice SQL query to extract exactly the fields needed for the log submission, I find that only CSV and HTML are the supported formats. Oops!
May I suggest that ADIF be added to the export formats of the SQL console?
Would it be useful to add an antenna field in the profile?
As CQRlog has multiple profiles, I am curious if support for two or more callsigns could be incorporated? For example, I once held KA0RNY and since late 1998 have held N0NB. If a relation could be established that between date X and date Y callsign A was used and that from date Y to date Z callsign B was used, it would tie my log together nicely.
Or, am I better off maintaining two logs? If so, what is the best way? Can I specify a log directory on the cqrlog command line or must I have a complete duplicate CQRlog installation?
It would be very nice to have a rotator control window with the option of automatically aiming the antenna when grabbing a spot from the cluster window.
I've been using CQRLog as my primary logging program for about a year now, and am continually impressed with the amazing job you guys are doing! Thank you for all of your hard work!

I would like to be able to export the database to my web host,
so that I can have an online version of the log so that a ham can see if he is in my log, and request a QSL. at least to start.
I guess my ultimate goal is to be able to log a contact from whatever computer I happen to be near by logging into my website and using the log from there.
For now, however, It would be nice to be able to have someone request the QSL, and have an email sent to me with the info required to return a QSL.
Hi All
Am running Open SuSe 10.3 and have tried to open the files after downloading but nothing happens.
Da pc just sits there and does nothing.
Have tried sending all files to the trash and downloading again but again nothing happens.
Could someone throw some light on the problem or what I am not doing correctly.
Regards
Peter
V 09.01 : Group edit : My Loc field fails
Hi all and tnx for the new version of of this great logbook!
Run into some minor trouble after importing some /p QSOs from Tucnak contestprogram into CQRLOG.. ADIF import works great, but I missed to add the new /p Profile before importing.
To fix this human error, I set up a filter selecting all my imported /p QSOs and would like to fix the all selected QSOs using group editing.
Found problems :
I have rebuilt the latest source of hamlib-1.2.10. These are available on my ftp server. I hope they will be of some help.
You can log on to the server using login "ftp" less the quotes and you will be prompted for your email address as a password.
ftp://n3meq.dynip.com will allow you access via your web browser.
Hapy New Year to all,

HI
Open qso list
click on one callsign (eg:ok2cqr)
choose sort by call
the screen show you all qso sorted by call 1A to ok2
click on down arrow in vertical scrollbar, they stay grey at last qso ok2.
if i want to see the other qso i have to move cursor scrollbar to the top of scrollbar and go back to the end to see my ZZ qso

Hello Petr,
just wanted to inform you that i created a wiki page for CQRLOG on the german ubuntuusers site. I hope you like it. :) If you want to read it, translate it into your language at first.
Any criticism is welcome.
What i also wanted to mention is that you should either give some information in the documentation on how to install CQRLOG and it's dependencies on 64bit systems, or to create a native 64bit version of CQRLOG.
Since I'm just getting started with SKCC, I set up the award tracking which looks to be FB. Now, the SKCC roster is updated daily and today's update included several new members including myself. The skcc.txt file included with 0.9.1 has up to member # 6194 and already the count is up to # 6231.
Is there someplace where I can grab the latest file between CQRlog updates or does another file need to be processed in some way for CQRlog?
There seems to be a problem opening my serial port

Can you provide some guidance. I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 and have installed all the 32 bit libraries.
Do you have to do anything special when your callsign changes? Does this affect LOTW uploads? Do the old entries have your old callsign attached to it?
HI
IN CALLBOOK WINDOWS (F6):
put a callsign with "/" (slash) ,the answer is html code :
pj7/k7zum
or ct/f8bqq
i only try with this 2 calls
